For this project in Harpenden, the client wanted a cooking space to suit their family requirements but also with a chic and moody feel. This kitchen features Nobilia's 317 Touch and 340 Lacquer Laminate in Black Supermatt for a luxurious yet understated allure. The sleek 12mm ceramic worktop complements the deep tones, providing a modern touch to the space. A focal point is the bronze mirror backsplash, a stunning creation by Southern Counties Glass, adding depth to the space. High-end appliances from AEG, Bora, Blanco, and Quooker seamlessly blend functionality with aesthetics to elevate the kitchen's performance. These appliances add efficiency to daily cooking activities. Lauren Smyth designs over 80 spec homes a year for Alturas Homes! Last year, the time came to design a home for herself. Having trusted Kentwood for many years in Alturas Homes builder communities, Lauren knew that Brushed Oak Whisker from the Plateau Collection was the floor for her! She calls the look of her home ‘Ski Mod Minimalist’. Clean lines and a modern aesthetic characterizes Lauren's design style, while channeling the wild of the mountains and the rivers surrounding her hometown of Boise.

Our client from Didsbury was initially considering a more traditional kitchen. However, as soon as they saw our showroom, they realised that a sleek and contemporary design was the way to go. In this kitchen extension project, we used black and brown tones throughout to complement the existing walls of the client's home. We used cabinetry from the Pronorm Y-Line handleless range in Organic Glass Black and Alba Oak Brown to give the kitchen a contemporary look. The island overhang matches the Alba Oak Brown units, creating a cohesive feel. Our team then chose Dekton Rem worktops for added elegance. This white surface features brown and grey veining, which blends seamlessly with the kitchen's colour palette. For appliances, our clients chose Siemens, a Quooker Flex Black tap, and a Bora Professional range hob—all of which were installed with great precision by our experienced team. One unique feature of this project was the hideaway coffee station requested by the client. We built a tall unit with shelves and drawers inside, allowing us to tuck away all of their coffee-making equipment and supplies.

This kitchen was initially a U shape separate room off the corridor. It was dark and isolated from the rest of the apartment. We decided to knock down the walls separating it from the living area and design this small but stunning and practical kitchen.

A dream kitchen for the Bold & Beautiful. Deciding to create an open floor plan for this Bayside home renovation meant we would be extending the kitchen into the previous living room, visible as you enter the home. For this exact reason, we wanted to integrate it into the new “Great Room”. Starting off with a dedicated bar area, the underwater wallpaper sets the tone for a transitional welcome to the kitchen. The melody of natural materials, including the 3-sided waterfall edge island, is balanced on the other side by a bar-height quartz for the dine-in kitchen experience. Making the split height island the start of the kitchen. The bar height side provides the perfect place to have a drink or snack, while the counter height side drops to a lower level, adjacent from the stove, allowing for a spacious kitchen. To contrast the lighter two tone countertops, installed were minimal and sleek oversized custom cabinets, with black grain flat doors and matching black hood with horizontal gold accents to go over the Wolf rage. Across the island, houses the SubZero fridge, in floor to ceiling cabinets, laminated in a linen texture that seamlessly blends in with the walls. To finish off the cabinets, peaks of shine provided by the brass edge pulls throughout married perfectly with the attention grabbing brass chandelier floating over the island and gold sconces along the stove wall. The kitchen doesn’t end there! Past the island, the breakfast nook is furnished with a salmon velvet settee and coffee table, perfect for cuddling and having your morning coffee. Client Feedback: The house looks fantastic! Very much appreciate all the hard work you have put into this, it really shows!

Upside Development completed this Interior contemporary remodeling project in Sherwood Park. Located in core midtown, this detached 2 story brick home has seen it’s share of renovations in the past. With a 15-year-old rear addition and 90’s kitchen, it was time to upgrade again. This home needed a major facelift from the multiple layers of past renovations.
