We decided to match the blue tile island with the back splash to pull in the whole modern contemporary look. We sanded and stained the cabinets and added modern nobs for a completed modern look. Installing all stainless steel appliances to compliment the gray wood floors. It is the small details that really pull it all together.

The goal of this beautiful makeover was to create an amazing space for a large family to come together and enjoy time special occasions. To create wonderful memories! The original layout was very traditional in it's day, a separate kitchen/eating area, a separate 3 season room, a front living room, all divided up with walls. And the view of the lake was completely obscured! We removed several walls, made the 3 season room into a year round space, and gave this home a complete change to bring in sunlight and enjoy the views!

Designing a show home kitchen with dark cabinets involved a thoughtful balance of contrast and harmony to create a stunning and sophisticated space. The careful selection of materials and finishes further elevated the design of the show home kitchen. High quality countertops in a complementary colour were chosen to contrast with the dark cabinets and tie the design elements together. Stainless steel appliances added a sleek and modern touch, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the space.
