Kuche + Cucina has helped us design and build 2 new kitchens - one 15 years ago, and one that is just being completed. When we started on a townhouse renovation recently with a large high-ceilinged kitchen-dining area, we immediately went back to Kuche + Cucina because they had been so professional and helpful the first time - they had gone far beyond what we expected. This time, with the new kitchen designed by a very well- regarded interior designer, they were again superb, - offering help at very turn, respecting deadlines, staying within the budget and most of all, taking such care with every detail and finishing the work so beautifully. We renovated our small kitchen using Kuche & Cucina last winter. My contact person throughout the renovation was Rissa Privitera who was so helpful in resolving any problems we had during the construction. The end result is a beautiful kitchen, but not without some issues dealing with the other staff. We used porcelain for the counter tops, island and back splash and their fabricator did a beautiful job. I don't know what I would have done without Rissa since we were out of town for much of the job, I hold her in the highest regard in terms of solving problems and making sure the customer is happy!!!

We have a 1967 mid-century modern home and wanted to update the kitchenette in our lower level to play up this style. We contacted Amir and he knew exactly the style we were going for and helped us execute the look exceptionally well! He really paid attention to each detail and made great suggestions along the way! We had some unique asks that he was able to help us with – for instance, orange countertops – he was able to source the material and find a fabricator too! Exposed hinges on a new bathroom vanity (to make it look like it was made in the 1960s) – no problem there as well! His installers were also wonderful – a great team to work with – true craftsmen! We really love our Brady Bunch inspired Kitchenette! Thank you Amir and team!

Our entire experience was wonderful!!! We keep a kosher kitchen and we were quite impressed with Amir’s knowledge on the subject. We purchased our cabinetry, sinks, faucets and flooring from this amazing store. Rissa was a total asset as she always answered any questions. The installers were clean and courteous. The few things I needed tweaked were done by the head installer Voytech to my satisfaction. The kitchen cabinetry, the dining room and bar area were all done by Kuche Kucina. We love our kitchen. For the last 10 years, my wife was asking for her new dream kitchen. We asked our trusted contractor Mike K. for the best kitchen designer in the area. He recommended a couple of kitchen contractors but indicated that Kuche+Cucina designer is the best one in the Bergen County area. We called the owner, Amir Ilin, directly and dealt with him during the whole process. He asked about our budget (app. 50-60K) and explained how we will work with these numbers. He explained type of cabinets, counter tops and accessories we could afford. He also explained that if we needed an electrician, plumber or handyman (to remove old cabinets and install new ones), he could provide his own trusted contacts. He assured us that he would guide us thru the whole process. Now, the best part - he guided us through the whole process of our remodeling. We started the project in September 2019 and finished right before New Year’s Eve, 2020. And we were able to squeeze in 3 weeks of vacation time as well. In other words, we delayed the project ourselves. During this time, we had some minor issues (missing cabinet parts, wrong color handles, and mysterious spot on counter top). But Amir was on top of every single issue himself, calling manufacturing companies directly demanding immediate responses. Every single issue was resolved in a quick manner. Amir was always available to resolve any issue or question that came up during the project’s execution. Would I recommend Kuche+Cucina and Amir to my friends or family for kitchen remodeling? Yes, I definitely would. He is not the cheapest kitchen designer in Bergen County, but you get a lot for your money - professional design, a ton of experience, a reliable company and honest advice. We couldn’t be happier with our kitchen cabinets from Kuche+Cucina. From walking in the door, the store is welcoming and offers a wide assortment of design ideas that showcase their beautiful design capabilities and many options of manufactures and function which they offer in cabinetry. This made it easy for us us to choose our Pedini cabinets. From meeting with our designer in the showroom and on site to discuss the layout, to the delivery and install it was a pleasure dealing with each member of Amir’s team. The installer, Wojtek, was punctual, professional and friendly the entire install which is a rarity in service work. The showroom also has European interior doors and closets on display which are every girls dream that I couldn’t take my eyes off. Next time for sure! Our hood surround hasn’t been installed by our sheet metal contractor so I’m not posting a picture but I’ll follow up because I’m excited to share the final project. It’s amazing! We would highly recommend Amir and will be using him again on future projects.

Fewer purchases in life do you research more about - every detail you can choose. Everything has to fit and be functional. So much more time, calls, emails, visits to showrooms then any other purchase. Far more then buying a car or a home or even choosing a job. The team @ Kuche Cucina - Carmie, Rissa and Amir are just phenomenal. Such quality products and offer a variety of vendors (as opposed to other chains that just sell one) with seemingly 3 common denominators: quality, functional and stylish. Doca cabinets, galley sink, custom hood, Neolith counter top and backsplash is what we went with. Reno’s for appliances. Picking it all out. Arranging the install with a top notch cabinet/carpenter. Working with installer during the installation to quickly address any issue and avoid delays. Working with Reno’s appliances. Arranging the installs of the countertop/back splash crew. Fine tuning. Negotiating and budgeting for you. Responsiveness, accessibility, patience and care - sincerely five star all the way. Top, top notch service and product all the way. 100%. I had an amazing experience dealing with Kuche+Cucina. I ordered a Doca kitchen and butlers pantry for my new home. The staff at Kuche+Cucina were knowledgeable and really patient as they walked me through each step of the process from plans to design. They did everything in their power to help me build the kitchen of my dreams! I could not be happier with the results!

We bought our first Pedini kitchen from Kuche Cucina in 2012. We downsized from a large colonial to a modern apartment. The apartment had less than 1/3 kitchen floor space as our house. We were very concerned: will the apartment kitchen permit us to retain our family tradition, of hosting large dinners (15-35 guests) ? We spent several months seeking advice and designs from top kitchen showrooms; SieMatic., Bulthaup, Eggersmann, Snaidero, Poggenpohl. All had sleek designs but felt more like museum display than family kitchens. They lacked the inviting touch of the wood cabinets at our house. It was difficult to imagine cooking spaghetti sauce, without leaving fingerprints all over the no handle doors; and the astronomical prices were a huge budget stretch. Pedini was love at first sight. It had sleek modern design and magic hardware like all the top brands. But it offered stunning wood finishes -- we selected African Mahogany and Macassar ebony-- combining the inviting warmth and elegance of mid-century furniture. It matched perfectly our herringbone Brazilian Cherry floor and the black leather granite slab, we found, had orange streaks just like the Macassar wood. Kuche Cucina amazing design managed to create nearly as much function space –as our larger house kitchen, while cleverly using the windows, to provide spacious feeling. I am sitting at the kitchen as I type. It still looks brand new despite 5 years of heavy-duty daily use and many family events, and it still attracts great compliments. As for price; Kuche Cucina 20%-40% lower than the quotes from the other top brands. Scavolini had a similarly priced line, but it did not meet our quality and design goals. We have recently bought a new apartment and decided to replace the developer’s kitchen with Kuche Cucina Pedini design. The kitchen is dominated by huge wall-size window, with thick gray metal frame. Amir designed cabinets to form uniform metallic gray surfaces matching the windows. He added life and warmth to these surfaces by creating backsplash light boxes covered with quartz gemstone slabs. When the lights are on, the gemstones shine myriad of dramatic blue colors and transform the kitchen into stunning art. Designing and installing a kitchen evolves complex challenges and coordination among providers. We ran into problems with some of the other providers. Fortunately, Amir voluntarily took charge of resolving these difficulties, beyond the call of duty for his part of the project. In summary, both kitchens combine stunning design with perfect usability to serve small in-kitchen meals or large family banquettes. We feel we got our best money worth. More importantly, working with Amir and his team has been a true pleasure; he is a terrific creative designer and a can-do provider who cares about customers and his work.

Most profesional team of designers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They spent significant amounts of time on revising the design until both me and my wife were happy. Absolute worst customer experience I have ever had. The entire purpose of these 3rd party showrooms is to assist in your experience. I stated so many times that I have never installed a countertop before, so please guide me. 1. They never told me to have the plumbing removed. So, the guys came to install and couldn't. So, I had to have them come back and have a plumber make a special trip (when he could've done that when he was here before). 2. They directed the countertop manufacturer to cut the wrong sink. Then, the counter people blamed my 82 year old mother. 3. When all of these errors were made, they never took fault. They even made me pay to have the countertop guys come back to install. They blamed me and were very rude. I will never work with these people again and if anyone asks for recommendations, I will say absolutely, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I was able to custom design everything, including the interiors and lighting. We hired Kuche Cucina to install the cabinetry as well, during the process I realized a mistake I had made in design but the installer was crafty enough to resolve the issue within a day. I am very pleased with the outcome, and they were incredibly responsive with all my questions, concerns, changes etc. I highly recommend Kuche Cucina and have already referred friends.

Angelo help redesign a kitchen layout originally done by another professional. The kitchen oroject was part of renovating the first floor of our home. I stopped into Kuche-Cucina really not sure of the types of services they offered. I was warmly greeted by Angelo who proceeded to spend the next hour educating me about cabinet construction, kitchen layouts and what changes we could make to my original plan to maximize space. He suggested I leave the plans so he could look at them with a closer eye and call him in about a week. He didn't ask for money- as other places had; he didn't tell me there would be a charge for his time unless I bought the cabinets at a Kuche-Cucina- as another design store had done Angelo was simply up front, not pushy and not looking for a monetary commitment after I knew him for only an hour. Now this us customer service! This is integrity in business! Needless to say, I left the design plans with him and left the store knowing I would use Kuche- Cucina as my kitchen designers. Angelo and I had several meetings in order to refine the design and trouble shoot difficult decisions . He advised me on cabinet door design, interior design extras that were worth the extra cost as well as those that may not be worth while. This builds client trust. Angelo's sense of humor made working through this process enjoyable and I came to believe that both he and Kuche- Cucina are invested in client satisfaction and quality work, not just making a quick buck The cabinet installers are out sourced and very professional. They returned a few times after the initial installations as some minor issues needing tweaking. Angelo visited the job site prior to installation to coordinate with my general contractor and then again after installation to inspect the installet's work The door to the appliance garage was not what I had ordered, so a new door was ordered and installed without cost. Working with Angelo and Kuche-Cucina was about as stress free as a kitchen renovation can be given that this is a long messy process no matter who does the work. I never waivered in my decision to use Kuche- Cucina and am exceptionally please that I got to work with Angelo. I am confident I got the best products for my price point and equally excellent service.

I looked at hundreds of kitchens on houzz searching for ideas for my new kitchen. I finally settled on a contemporary style but was still unsure of colors, material or layout. When I walked into the showroom at kuche cucina, I was immediately impressed by several of their modern kitchens. One had a stainless steel countertop, another a long counter with induction stovetop on top, still another with white shiny cabinets and finally one with a very beautiful luxurious looking 3 inch thick white granite countertop and backsplash with glass shelving. I knew this was the place to get my high end contemporary Italian kitchen and we collaborated to create both a functional and stunning kitchen. Anthony Scrudato was a pleasure to work with in choosing styles and materials. He made many useful suggestions which we incorporated into the layout. The subcontractors that built the countertops were top of the line craftsmen and their attention to detail flawless. Bill's design drafts were impeccable. Rissa was on top of the project from beginning to end to deal with and tie together loose ends. The team under Amir's leadership executed and delivered a high end kitchen that is not only practical to use for cooking and entertaining, but also a work of art that adds character and beauty to the rest of our home. Extremely satisfied with the result.

After a short conversation we decided on a cabinet line, with a budget of approximately $20k. I had my kitchen measurements with me and was really hoping for some guidance on a layout. I was told that would not be a problem, left the measurements to come back in a few days to look at what our options were. This first experience was pleasant. A few days later, I went back based on a call that my layout is ready. When I went back we sat down to review the layout, I was given a price quotation, which was a range of approximately $10,000. We spoke about the pros and cons of the layout, since this was a new process to me, I was asking many questions. After each question, the responses were more and more condescending, short, and borderline rude. I attribute this to the representative asking me to put down a retainer to move forward. I was completely honest and said that I would not be making a commitment today as I wanted to get my wife's and architect's opinion on the layout, and that the price needs to be more exact. At that point the response was "I don't understand why people don't commit and put down a retainer", "I don't understand why you need to think about it, what is there to think about", "If you put down a retainer we will get everything done and make sure it's to your liking." I was shocked by the way I was being pressured. The representative further stated "I've done kitchens for $60, $70, $100k" and proceeded to show me pictures of completed kitchens to show the great work that has been done. I stated that while $20-25k may be a small amount for you, it's a big decision for my family and I take offense to being pressured. I kept my composure asked a few other questions and politely said that I would speak with my wife and get back to you. The representative did not even get up, walk me to the door, or move from the office when I was getting ready to leave. In short, while they may do some great work, I would not do business with them based on the experience I had. After that encounter, I went to 3 other mid-range / semi custom cabinet stores and received 10x the attention and courtesy that I received from Kuche-Cucina.

We went to Kuche Cucina for vanities for our bathroom. We first ordered the vanities from another company but when they arrived they were damaged. We were told replacements would take 8 weeks to come in and we needed them in 2 weeks to move in. So we went to Kuche Cucina and worked with Angelo. We found two absolutely beautiful vanities (much nicer than the first ones we ordered). Angelo was able to get them to us within 2 weeks. He was great to work with, very professional and kept on top of the delivery to ensure we had them on time as promised. He really helped us out of a jam. We choose Pedini cabinets with a monochromatic color scheme. The result was a clean sophisticated space that also is functional. With the help of interior designer Judi Schwarz of Judi Schwarz Interiors, our amazing kitchen was completed with a custom designed table, counter stools and gorgeous chandeliers. The process of working with Kuche & Cucina is a delight. Amir’s professionalism and easy going personality coupled with his superior design skills set Kuche & Cucina far apart from all else. As with any construction project “minor glitches” do occur. Problems were solved quickly and efficiently. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Lee the cabinet installer. I worked with Amir for nearly two years and I cannot emphasize enough how knowledgable he is with every aspect of kitchen design. Amir considers every fine detail of the project to make sure his customers will be completely satisfied. The quality of product and installation are extraordinary. K+C did an excellent job of listening to our concerns related to compatibility with the home's existing style and furnishings, producing a design that worked extremely well, with a couple of options for us to choose from, and then managed production and installation. After installation was complete, there were a couple of details that we wanted adjusted, and K+C was extremely accomodating in providing them. After completion, we decided that we wanted an additional corner bookcase of a somewhat complex shape, to create a transition from the bar area to the living room. Again, K+C provided a great design solution, as well as production and installation. We have considerable experience remodelling homes in southern and northern California over the past 30 years, and will say that K+C is the best we have worked with. It can be a challenge learning about new designers and trades in a different area, and this worked perfectly for us. We definitely look forward to working with K+C on future projects.

We purchased a new house in Tenafly. After researching all the options for a European style modern kitchen in the Bergen County and New York City area, we ended up going with Kuche Cucina - they had a great product selection (incl. Pedini, that we fell in love with), knew exactly what we were looking for and... had many great reviews, from other clients on Houzz! From the minute we stepped into the Paramus showroom, we've been treated with professionalism and attention to every detail of our project... This is not our first kitchen and we had a good benchmark - Kuche Cucina raised the bar! We chose a high end modern, minimalist kitchen (white lacquer, frosted glass, etc.) and were very pleased with both the product, installation and overall value. During the installation their installer realized that one of the aluminum trim pieces was about 3" too short. We were most impressed that Kuche Cucina arranged for a new piece to be air freighted within 3 days - from Italy!!! We highly recommend Kuche Cucina!
