This kitchen design in Holt, MI features two-toned textured laminate kitchen cabinets from Diamond Distinction Cabinets from MasterBrand. The darker toned cabinetry is used for the kitchen island, cabinets surrounding the refrigerator, and for the base cabinets, while the upper cabinets are a lighter finish. An MSI linear glass mosaic tile backsplash and Cambria quartz countertop pulls together the color scheme where the two cabinetry colors meet. The cabinets have ample customized storage including built-in spice racks and a pantry with rollout trays. A bi-level peninsula separates the kitchen from the living and dining areas, and includes bar seating for casual dining. A double bowl undermount sink is located in the peninsula, and GE black slate appliances feature throughout the kitchen. Homecrest Cascade luxury vinyl tile flooring finishes off this transitional design with a splash of rustic tones.

Ultramodern German Kitchen in Worthing, West Sussex This German kitchen project in Worthing required extensive structural works to divide two rooms and create an open-plan space. Designer Phil has created an ultramodern handleless kitchen space, complete with high-tech appliances and TV area. The Brief A spacious and vast open-plan kitchen was the end goal of this project, which was not an easy task considering the space was originally two rooms. Advanced structural works were required to support the rest of the property, with flooring, lighting and an exterior bi-fold door also part of the plans. Designer Phil was tasked with envisaging a design which incorporated all this client’s requirements, whilst implementing a homely and modern kitchen theme. Design Elements Before fitting the kitchen, our structural team had to undertake significant works. Following the removal of a dividing wall, four steels had to be fixed in a square formation to support the property, this left a huge space for the kitchen Phil had designed for this client. A homely, yet modern theme was preferred with a combination of Stone Grey and Slate grey matt units opted for. These two finishes are complimented by Havana oak wood accents and the handless design of the kitchen. To meet the client’s requirements, an island, TV area and full-height corner storage feature, in addition to a wall-to-wall run which houses kitchen appliances and storage. Special Inclusions Special inclusions are aplenty in this kitchen. A grid of appliances is comprised of a Neff slide & hide oven, combination oven, warming drawer, coffee centre and Caple wine cabinet. Each provide an array of useful functions for this client, and elsewhere are accompanied by a Neff induction hob, Neff telescopic extractor hood and a Quooker 100°C boiling water tap. Designer Phil has incorporated numerous design features like a glass-ended unit on the island, cookbook storage space, feature shelving in the TV area and a raised natural wood work surface on the island. Our structural team were also tasked with widening an exterior doorway and fitting bi-fold doors which look out to the vibrant garden. Project Highlight The TV area is a lovely highlight of this project. Phil has framed this with additional storage and decorative wood effect shelving. Nearby a full-height radiator and full-height storage provide warmth and even more storage to the kitchen space. The End Result The end result is a space that is unrecognisable and has been completely transformed with the expertise of our fitting team. We used the Planero Cornerstone MAXX Pull Out Corner Unit for both negative corners. The pull-out feature of the unit allows for easy access to items stored in the back of the cabinet, making it more convenient to use the space and reducing the need to crawl inside the cabinet to reach items. This kitchen remodel was designed by Gail from our Manchester showroom. This kitchen remodel features Yorktowne Iconic cabinets with maple wood Roma flat panel door style (Shaker) and White Icing paint finish. This remodel also features a granite countertop with White mist color and a pencil edge. The flooring is a vinyl click lock plant type of flooring by Armstrong in Goncalo color. The kitchen backplash is Crystal shores diamond brick joint with mapei with grout color Iron #107. Other features include Blanco Granite composite farm sink with Cinder color, Moen faucet & soap dispenser with a chrome finish. The hardware is flat black cup pulls for drawers and knobs for all the doors.

The kitchen went from a tiny box to the entire width of the common space opening up the room to an open concept floor plan. Mixing glossy laminate doors with an ultra-matte black door, we were able to put together this bold design. The fridge is completely concealed and separating the pantry from the fridge is a walnut-look wine stack perfect for all the entertaining this couple plans to have!

What a fun yet challenging project. After numerous space plan options, we've finally decided on removing a wall and switching it out with cabinetry that is functional for a kitchen and the dining area. We've added a peninsula at a 120 degree corner to expand the working surface, add bar seating and still keep the space open and inviting from adjoining spaces. Blueberry oak cabinets with satin brass hardware are balanced out with white quartz countertop and gray uppers. Wide plank vinyl helped keep this space masculine and formal while the stairs add a softer touch that's being complimented by warm tone furniture. To tie in warmth and masculinity, we've opted for custom miter-cut shelves in the corner. Windows give us great light and a corner cabinet can block a lot of it out, so floating shelves seemed most appropriate (no visible hardware). With a lot of material and colors, space still seems cohesive and inviting. Very formal, yet ready to be used for entertaining and day to day living. Hale Production Studios

1950's mid-century modern beach house built by architect Richard Leitch in Carpinteria, California. Leitch built two one-story adjacent homes on the property which made for the perfect space to share seaside with family. In 2016, Emily restored the homes with a goal of melding past and present. Emily kept the beloved simple mid-century atmosphere while enhancing it with interiors that were beachy and fun yet durable and practical. The project also required complete re-landscaping by adding a variety of beautiful grasses and drought tolerant plants, extensive decking, fire pits, and repaving the driveway with cement and brick.

Graphite grey satin feel matt, creating a soft contrast when combined with the strong wood grain of the natural Halifax oak to this wonderful breakfasting kitchen. The stunning centre piece island is wrapped in Calacatta stone with waterfall grain matched end panels, creating a truly unique look with the blended stone sink, sitting seamlessly within the island. true handleless created with Blum’s servo drive electric opening, even the fridge and freezer open and close effortlessly. The design brief was to create a breakfasting kitchen with an area to relax and entertain, so the wall hung media area was an integral part of the project and created the space that the client could exhibit their fabulous pieces of modern art!

This kitchen boasts white oak upper cabinets and light green lower cabinets with Euro style flat front full overlay doors and drawers. The hexagon tile backsplash extends to the ceiling around the vent hood and window. The waterfall countertop on the island adds a beautiful focal point to this kitchen.
