The homeowner enjoys entertaining friends and family and wanted plenty of "walkaround room" in the space for comings and goings from the kitchen to the laundry and the pool area outside. We kept the operational space along the exterior wall for maximum traffic accommodation.

Stainless steel appliances, including a double oven and gas cook-top, tons of storage and over 60 sq ft of countertop and prep areas, cooking (and eating) can be a group activity in this spacious kitchen.

A walk-in pantry houses additional foodstuffs and small appliances, keeping the kitchen itself uncluttered and clean. Access to the new laundry is through the swinging door to the left of the cooktop area. Both are done in frosted glass to allow for maximum light spread.

The coffee and wine bar provide guests with whatever their hearts desire.

The space beneath the window is open to allow for counter height seating for the homeowner's grandchildren to participate in the cooking, cookie decorating and sampling happening in the kitchen. The client's fiesta ware collection is displayed alongside coffee accouterments at the coffee and wine bar.
