This beautiful 1930's Rolling Hills Estates ranch house was in dire need of a kitchen remodel with a drop ceiling and navy blue floors. We completely gutted the room adding almost three feet of height to the space. We were also able to save the original tile and cabinets. Giving them a fresh coat of paint and medium stain wash to add color and depth to wood.

Every home needs a junk drawer! This command center is convenient both to the back entry and the breakfast table. Drawers, open shelving for cookbooks and such, and a counter where you can put a parcel down as you enter go a long way toward keeping organized.

Bringing a dated kitchen back to life has never been more apparent than in this amazing transformation. We all live with our “Just Fine” kitchens for so long. This family had had enough. Today, we bring you this modernized remodel in Corona, CA. The first thing you notice is the stark white shaker cabinets topped with a quartz countertop that mimics Carrara tile. Pendant lights over the new oversized kitchen island, which we extended for seating, top off the look of the new space. Adding light blue, glass tile, in a brick pattern up to the ceiling adds a touch of classic color. Atop the new cabinets is a custom soffit that not only adds character, but helps to conceal the ventilation for the stove and oven vent. A beautiful and useful addition. The kitchen sink is a centerpiece of it’s own, an apron front Kohler, single bowl, porcelain over cast iron masterpiece. Adding a Moen faucet with a built in extendable spray arm attachment conforms with the clean look of the room. As usual we added Lazy Susan’s in the corner cabinets, and banks for full extension drawers into the island for storage and functionality. A couple of accents are the new under cabinet LED lights, and the frosted glass door fronts on both the corner cabinet and the pantry door. But we didn’t stop there! New flooring leads you from the front door, through the kitchen and family room, off into the upgraded powder room. A 6x36 porcelain, commercially rated tile, and of course finished with acrylic grout for cleanliness. In the family room, to bring it up to date as well since it adjoins the kitchen, an all-new fireplace and entertainment center were built. Slate stacked stone, framed outward, to become a focal point in the room sits next to the clean and sturdy new entertainment center. Built with glass door fronts donned with dimmer lights, and bottom cabinets and shelving for the necessities at the bottom of the unit. These homeowners knew just what they wanted, and we were so happy to provide the perfect living space, custom designed for their family.

Complete kitchen remodel. The pantry, fridges and an appliance bench are hidden in the wall of talls, and there's a built-in charging pad on the island bench. The original marble island bench was repurposed as decorative cladding to the fireplace in the living room.

Personalized cabinetry opens up a world of storage possibilities. The copper hood vent and light blue backsplash bring in a casual, character-filled vibe. White cabinets and countertops set a refreshing tone, and the light hardwood floors effortlessly enhance the laid-back charm.

We installed 6 dimmable recessed light cans, new GFI outlets, new switches, and brand-new appliances. We moved the stovetop's location opposite from its original location for the sake of space efficiency to create new countertop space for dining. Relocating the stovetop required creating a new gas line and ventilation pipeline. We installed 56 linear feet of beautiful custom flat-panel walnut and off-white cabinets that house the stovetop refrigerator, wine cellar, sink, and dishwasher seamlessly. The cabinets have beautiful gold brush hardware, self-close mechanisms, adjustable shelves, full extension drawers, and a spice rack pull-out. There is also a pullout drawer that glides out quietly for easy access to store essentials at the party. We installed 45 sq. ft. of teal subway tile backsplash adds a pop of color to the brown walnut, gold, and neutral color palette of the kitchen. The 45 sq. ft. of countertop is made of a solid color off-white custom-quartz which matches the color of the top cabinets of the kitchen. Paired with the 220 sq. ft. of natural off-white stone flooring tiles, the color combination of the kitchen embodies the essence of modern mid-century style.

The cabinets are by Canyon Creek in Breeze (blue) and White. The door style in this shot is Brentwood (Shaker) with slab drawers. The kitchen was part of a complete home renovation, and I was not the decorator for this project but the beautiful backsplash tile is "Dellano Exotic Blue 8x48 Polished Wood Look Porcelain Tile."

Even though the clearances are very tight, you can open all the doors and drawers without hitting anything!

The Kitchen was a major transformation from the dark cherry cabinetry and millwork that was used previously. The cabinetry was painted in a crisp white and the countertops were replaced with a white quartz. An ice blue glass waveline tile was used as the backsplash as well as the face of the peninsula bar. The island was replaced by custom designed angled cabinetry painted in a deep indigo blue finish which is illuminated by a natural woven pendant light. A natural textured wallcovering was installed on the upper ceiling to add additional texture to the space.
