CCI Renovations/North Vancouver/Photos- Ema Peter Photography. This small space galley-style kitchen had to be rebuilt in the existing space. Due to the configuration of the existing ceiling no lighting could be added to the ceiling so a unique solution to this was to use track lighting that allowed the installation of cantilevered lights. With limited counter space at the microwave a pull out shelf was installed in the drawer below. Existing window and beam/post details had to be worked in to the new layout. Even in such a small space the kitchen functions with two chefs working at once without getting in each others way while, at the same time, guests can be watching from the nearby bar area. In order to open the kitchen to the living area a unique structural solution was required. The result left the kitchen with one beam that looks to have no support but is in fact supported through a hidden beam and bracket above (the Dali effect). The open space to the living room allowed for the addition of an intimate bar area that doubles as the prep station with a small sink. By moving the existing door to the dining room enough space was gained to provide for a full wall of cabinets along what the exposed wall of the fireplace. Mostly drawer units were used in place of shelves and items such as a 36 bottle spice rack, utensil racks, drawer dividers and in some cases shallower units provide organized and accessible storage.

The colors from the wallpaper are repeated in the green paint and blue Ann Saks tile. This boldness is balanced by the sleek white Ikea cabinets, countertops and stainless steel hardware. Linéaire de colonne intégrant rangements four, four micro-ondes, cave à vin et réfrigérateur intégré. Revetement des portes en Phoenix noir pour un bel effet velouté élégant et contemporain. Ilôt dinatoire et technique (zone cuisson et eau) meuble en noyer et plan en granit noir Zimbabwe.

This room, formally a dining room was opened up to the great room and turned into a new kitchen. The entertainment style kitchen comes with a lot of custom detailing. The island is designed to look like a modern piece of furniture. The St. Laurent marble top is set down into a mahogany wood for a furniture-like feel. A custom server is between the kitchen and great room. The server mimics the island design with the mahogany and marble. We incorporated two lamps in the server to enhance its furniture-like feel. New galley kitchen fits existing footprint without changes to the exterior. The plan was tweaked, changing doors and removing a brick flue, but had little impact on adjoining dining and living rooms.

Our Maku series is a collection of porcelain stoneware inspired by the timeless allure of natural stone, stocked in warm, soft shades. Complemented by dark and light graphic decors that come in various patterns, randomly mixed.

This open and airy kitchen is bold and beautiful! The brilliant white island and Rochon custom flat panel custom cabinets pops against the black countertops and backsplash. Also, as an accent black flat panel Rochon custom cabinets were selected. Rochon also made custom floating shelves. There is a wine refrigerator in the island.

An addition inspired by a picture of a butler's pantry. A place for storage, entertaining, and relaxing. Craftsman decorating inspired by the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite. The owners and I, with a bottle of red wine, drew out the final design of the pantry in pencil on the newly drywalled walls. The cabinet maker then came over for final measurements.
