Nella cucina di Stefania non potevano mancare degli elettrodomestici Hi-tech che semplificassero la quotidianità in cucina come il forno, super accessoriato che cuoce, griglia, scongela e si pulisce da solo! La funzione pirolitica autopulisce grazie all’elevata temperatura di circa 500 °C che riesce a sprigionare. Lo sporco e il grasso sulle pareti interne e sulla porta vengono totalmente bruciati e basta passare un panno umido per rimuoverne i residui inceneriti! Un dettaglio molto importante e diversificato a seconda delle zone è stato l’illuminazione. Ad esempio, sopra al piano ad induzione c’era bisogno di una luce funzionale, sulla zona operativa i faretti incassati nel cartongesso illuminano la zona conservazione (frigorifero e dispensa) e le zone preparazione cibi.

The kitchen redesign was a testament to the perfect balance between style, functionality, and safety. Every detail was carefully considered, from the choice of high-end appliances such as the Sub-zero refrigerator, electric range, convention oven, and microwave, and Miele dishwasher, to the thoughtfully designed 180-cubic-feet of under-the-counter storage, outfitted with Hefele appliances and magic-corners, allowing for maximum efficiency and ease of use. The space planning was equally impressive, with a focus on optimizing every inch of the kitchen. A prime example of this was the vertical, touch-latch storage drawers for tableware built into an existing display niche, just within arm's length from the dishwasher, and hidden behind a beautiful pocket door. The result was a seamless design that combines practicality and aesthetics effortlessly. The pantry was another key element of the redesign, with a petite yet functional space set into a small area off the kitchen, just steps from the apartment entrance. The design ensured that every inch of the pantry was optimized, providing ample storage while still being visually pleasing. Overall, the kitchen redesign was a masterclass in balancing form and function, resulting in a space that is as beautiful as it is functional. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and organization, this kitchen is a joy to use and a testament to thoughtful design.

In evidenza sul tavolo in ceramica ecco la sospensione di Artemide, per diffondere una luce “magica” dove si mangia. Dal tratto fortemente scenografico ma leggero si completa quando accesa svelando il gioco di delicate ombre che interagiscono con lo spazio. Il corpo centrale sospeso emette una luce indiretta che viene filtrata e rifratta da tre superfici trasparenti che con la loro forma ricordano degli elementi naturali, delle foglie. Questi elementi disposti a raggiera sovrapponendosi in parte moltiplicano il gioco di ombre generando un effetto veramente scenografico sul soffitto.

Questo progetto per Stefania e Alessio è nato dall’esigenza di ottimizzare gli spazi e la luminosità in cucina. Per ampliarli abbiamo lavorato con colori chiari che alternandosi sui vari elementi della composizione creassero un movimento delicato. Per impreziosire ulteriormente la cucina, lo schienale è stato realizzato con una materiale innovativo, in questo modo ne valorizziamo la texture ed esaltiamo il gioco di pieni e di vuoti, di luci e di ombre. Il piano lavoro con le venature è un elemento di forte contrasto come del resto le gole e gli zoccoli che spezzano la delicatezza cromatica creando leggeri segni grafici nello spazio.
