This month Demetra Cabinetry introduces you to a new kitchen of ours that uses a full backsplash design, handleless cabinets, and floating shelves. The calacatta pattern on the backsplash adds a dramatic effect to the kitchen. Floating shelves will ensure the utility of adequate shelving while avoiding obstruction of your beautiful backsplash design. Welcome to our latest kitchen renovation project, where classic French elegance meets contemporary design in the heart of Great Falls, VA. In this transformation, we aim to create a stunning kitchen space that exudes sophistication and charm, capturing the essence of timeless French style with a modern twist. Our design centers around a harmonious blend of light gray and off-white tones, setting a serene and inviting backdrop for this kitchen makeover. These neutral hues will work in harmony to create a calming ambiance and enhance the natural light, making the kitchen feel open and welcoming. To infuse a sense of nature and add a striking focal point, we have carefully selected green cabinets. The rich green hue, reminiscent of lush gardens, brings a touch of the outdoors into the space, creating a unique and refreshing visual appeal. The cabinets will be thoughtfully placed to optimize both functionality and aesthetics. The objective of this luxury kitchen renovation was to transform a 30-year-old, closed off kitchen into a brighter, more contemporary working triangle with excellent storage space. We worked closely with our clients to create a plan for better flow and a more sophisticated ambiance for entertaining. For this renovation we added an island to an open floor plan, utilized luxury appliance, and added direct access to the outdoor patio space resulting in a stunning transformation that exceeded or clients’ expectations.

Our journey with the Capilano Project clients began nearly two years ago when we were brought in on the project by TQ Construction. The clients were looking for authentic marble and natural stone elements throughout their home. They had an earthy and rustic yet eclectic and playful style. We couldn’t resist such an interesting concept and knew wehad to be a part of it.Throughout the home you’ll find materials like marble, Quartzite, copper,brass and wrought iron, concrete style countertops, tiles, and beautiful engineered hardwood providing a warm textured base. We loved working on this project, the clients were so involved and open in the design process providing inspiration and recommendations that really hit themark. In the kitchen, we kept the millwork design on the back wall as minimal and complimentary as possible. By pairing white painted flat door cabinets, concrete style countertops & backsplash topped off with an accent of dark stained oak on the upper cabinets and range hood, we were able to achieve the perfect backdrop for the main event…the island! This island packs a punch! Not only aesthetically, but literally…there’s a hidden beverage center in there…with punch! Anyways, this island is equipped with a hammered copper apron front sink, undercabinet microwave drawer, integrated dishwasher, pull-out beverage fridge and freezer below, along with concealed storage under the countertop bar overhang. To say we maximized the space is an understatement. The countertop at the island is natural stone “Fusion Red” quartzite. A showstopper and conversation piece, no doubt. When the clients saw this slab of stone, they knew we had to have it. This stone countertop influenced the entire colour scheme for the kitchen. It features rusty red, orange, greige and blue hues which we carefully incorporated in all accents throughout the space including the island millwork itself.

our finished kitchen extension at a family home in Maida Vale, London. This bespoke kitchen centred around a busy family lifestyle, while still looking fantastically bright and stylish. The side return extension consisted of a complete glass roof and wall-to-wall glass sliding doors. This lower ground floor was transformed into a bright, open plan, modern family home.⠀

L’appartement, dont la configuration structurelle est établie en L, présentait initialement une répartition des espaces alambiquée. Afin de répondre à la demande des nouveaux propriétaires qui souhaitaient créer un pied à terre fonctionnel et harmonieux, une redistribution complète des volumes fut nécessaire, en passant par l’ouverture d’un mur porteur et une nouvelle distribution des pièces. De cette reconfiguration complète résulte une pièce à vivre de plus de 20m2 avec une cuisine ouverte épurée, un espace dînatoire et un salon accueillant, où s’intègre une bibliothèque composée autour de la cheminée existante. La salle d’eau prend place au centre de l’appartement, volume autour duquel s’articule en arrière plan une chambre « cocon » mansardée. Un écrin sous les toits, pour une rénovation complète réalisée par l’équipe d’Ameo Concept.
