If you are replacing cabinets, Designs by KS are the team to work with. Their knowledge of cabinet design and installation combined with their relationship with the manufacturer makes for a seamless process. Based on another experience we had, their process essentially eliminated the middle person. The team at Designs by KS listened to our preferences, made creative suggestions and guided us through the entire process. No project goes without a hitch and a kitchen remodel during Covid was not the plan however that is what we were dealt and survived. I can’t recommend this team enough. They are professional, forward thinking and listen to their clients needs. In a condo there are always design challenges, and our kitchen and bathrooms had a few. Katerina and Silvie were able to come up with creative solutions for these challenges. They were always available for any questions we had as we went through the renovation. We have a kitchen that I love to cook and entertain in now and bathrooms that are practical and beautiful. Thank you!

From shabby to fabulous! Katerina and Silvie transformed the 30 year old condo we bought that had never been updated. Now we have a chef’s kitchen, spa bathrooms and modern fireplace wall. Our new space is not only lovely but practical with lots of storage and a functional layout. Katerina and Silvie were highly professional throughout the process and understood our style and needs. They helped us select materials that were beautiful but also cost effective. Their design and quality control were meticulous and the results have exceeded our expectations. Katerina, and Silvie and the team were amazing to work with! Starting a renovation, using our own contractor and while I was pregnant kept the stress levels high during this time but everyone were amazing being so patient, understanding, very helpful, and available whenever we needed them (within reason of course). With a few mishaps along the way they were dealt with professionally and timely and we stayed on timeline, yay!. We absolutely love our new kitchen and enjoy it everyday. We can't wait to renovate our bathrooms with you!! thank you to the bottom of our hearts!!

I had been planning a great room reno. for at least 5 years, fictitiously in my head. Never got around to starting it as always felt insecure doing it alone and all designers seemed to be out of my budget. This all ended one day while browsing on Houzz and called Silvie who explained their approach. This was soon followed by a site visit. I was particularly impressed with their ability to see thought the different options and in particular their combined ability to measure up my space and produce a floor plan in next to no time right there on the spot ! They had obviously done this before, So we embarked on a combined approach with me undertaking to get the demolition and construction completed in time for the kitchen cabinet delivery. During the design phase they recognized my style and "must have items" - such as straight lines and invisible vent fan. We had several simple finish and product selection meetings as well as detailed layout drawing reviews of the cabinetry and overall area layout. They were both most ingenious in helping me with selecting materials and finished. In particular Silvie for the lighting and colours and Katerina for plumbing flooring and furniture. They stopped me being foolish ! Overall I am delighted with the end result that was mostly on time and on budget..

Designs by Katerina and Sylvie did a lovely job with our kitchen renovation! They listened to us, engaged us, supported us and made the process really painless.They were there throughout the project to address any concerns and move things along. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Katerina and Silvie in our home in West Vancouver.
