ホームジムを使って、自宅でいつでもフィットネス！

トレーニング専用の部屋を確保する余裕がない場合でも、ヨガやピラティス、ストレッチなどのエクササイズであれば、大人が横になり両手、両足を伸ばせるくらいのスペースがあれば十分ホームジムとして活用できます。目安は畳一畳分。トレーニングチューブや2〜3㎏のダンベルを使って筋トレをしたり、フォームローラーやストレッチポールで筋膜をほぐしたりといった運動は小さなスペースでかなり本格的にできます。お気に入りのヨガマットと音楽でモチベーションを高め、人目を気にすることなくのびのびと汗を流せるのも、ホームジムならではの利点です。

ホームジムを作るにあたっての注意点

ランニングマシンやトレーニングバイクを使った有酸素運動や、ダンベル、バーベル、ベンチを使った本格的な筋力トレーニングをする場合、まずは床の耐久性を考慮する必要があります。重い器具は部屋の四隅に分散して配置したり、ランバーコア合板やラバーマットを下に敷いたりといった、重量が分散する工夫をすると良いでしょう。また、トレーニング中の掛け声やマシンがぶつかる音がご近所の迷惑になることもありますので、ホームジムの防音、防振対策も忘れないようにしましょう。
