A beautiful barn conversion that underwent a major renovation to be completed with a bespoke handmade kitchen. What we have here is our Classic In-Frame Shaker filling up one wall where the exposed beams are in prime position. This is where the storage is mainly and the sink area with some cooking appliances. The island is very large in size, an L-shape with plenty of storage, worktop space, a seating area, open shelves and a drinks area. A very multi-functional hub of the home perfect for all the family. We hand-painted the cabinets in F&B Down Pipe & F&B Shaded White for a stunning two-tone combination.

This new ranch style "barndominium" located in Plain City, Ohio presented a unique staging project for the Staging Spaces team. The large, open floor plan, allowed for the dining area to flow directly into the kitchen and common living area. The well crafted, black kitchen cabinets featured leather strap handles, quartz counter tops and black stainless appliances.

Not every cottage kitchen needs to be traditional in design. Our designers are always looking to put a unique twist on a classic design and this charming cottage kitchen is no exception. This traditional kitchen features our Signature Cary kitchen door and is painted in a brooding Indigo blue. The contemporary twist is in the truly handleless door design, which is a wonderfully unique choice in such a traditional setting. As you can see from the photos, our client is planning on plenty of cooking so kitchen storage was always going to be an important aspect of the design. Pullout storage, floor-to-ceiling larder cupboards, and rustic wooden shelving all offer plenty of practical storage. The Sonoma Farmhaus project was designed for a cycling enthusiast with a globally demanding professional career, who wanted to create a place that could serve as both a retreat of solitude and a hub for gathering with friends and family. Located within the town of Graton, California, the site was chosen not only to be close to a small town and its community, but also to be within cycling distance to the picturesque, coastal Sonoma County landscape. Taking the traditional forms of farmhouse, and their notions of sustenance and community, as inspiration, the project comprises an assemblage of two forms - a Main House and a Guest House with Bike Barn - joined in the middle by a central outdoor gathering space anchored by a fireplace. The vision was to create something consciously restrained and one with the ground on which it stands. Simplicity, clear detailing, and an innate understanding of how things go together were all central themes behind the design. Solid walls of rammed earth blocks, fabricated from soils excavated from the site, bookend each of the structures. According to the owner, the use of simple, yet rich materials and textures...“provides a humanness I’ve not known or felt in any living venue I’ve stayed, Farmhaus is an icon of sustenance for me".

Die alten Küchenmöbel bekamen einen neuen Anstrich und die gesamte Wohnung wurde im Nordic-Industrial-Stil eingerichtet. Kleine Apartments mit enormen Dachschrägen zu gestalten ist auch für mich als Expertin immer eine Herausforderung. Bei meiner Kundin stand im Fokus ein Neustart nach einer langen Beziehung, die kurzerhand beendet wurde. der Wunsch nach einer hellen Wohnung mit Stil, Flair und viel Stauraum zu finden und gekonnt zu möblieren war ihr besonders wichtig, um den Neustart in ihrem Leben gut für sich zu meistern. Das lichtdurchflutete Dachgeschossapartment mit großer Dachterrasse wurde von mir in den angesagten Nudetönen und schwarz-grauen Akzenten komplett eingerichtet.

The depth of the pantry was stepped back to accomodate the island. It provides lots of storage for dry goods and canned goods. A counter depth fridge also keeps the space open. Strategically placed potlights greatly improved the lighting.
