This view shows the openness of the stair case - a mix of vertical white board and baton panelling coupled with horizontal shiplap moves the eye around the room. A hint of color in the iridescent teal backsplash marries well with the textured vinyl finish on the bar stools. We made these in house and used brushed silver nail head trim to finish the leading edge. This saddle style stool is perfect for adding several in a row as they are not bulky.

We are Dexign Matter, an award-winning studio sought after for crafting multi-layered interiors that we expertly curated to fulfill individual design needs. Design Director Zoe Lee’s passion for customization is evident in this city residence where she melds the elevated experience of luxury hotels with a soft and inviting atmosphere that feels welcoming. Lee’s panache for artful contrasts pairs the richness of strong materials, such as oak and porcelain, with the sophistication of contemporary silhouettes. “The goal was to create a sense of indulgence and comfort, making every moment spent in the homea truly memorable one,” says Lee. By enlivening a once-predominantly white colour scheme with muted hues and tactile textures, Lee was able to impart a characterful countenance that still feels comfortable. She relied on subtle details to ensure this is a residence infused with softness. “The carefully placed and concealed LED light strips throughout create a gentle and ambient illumination,” says Lee. “They conjure a warm ambiance, while adding a touch of modernity.” Further finishes include a Shaker feature wall in the living room. It extends seamlessly to the room’s double-height ceiling, adding an element of continuity and establishing a connection with the primary ensuite’s wood panelling. “This integration of design elements creates a cohesive and visually appealing atmosphere,” Lee says. The ensuite’s dramatically veined marble-look is carried from the walls to the countertop and even the cabinet doors. “This consistent finish serves as another unifying element, transforming the individual components into a captivating feature wall. It adds an elegant touch to the overall aesthetic of the space.” Pops of black hardware throughout channel that elegance and feel welcoming. Lee says, “The furnishings’ unique characteristics and visual appeal contribute to a sense of continuous luxury – it is now a home that is both bespoke and wonderfully beckoning.”

L'entrée de cette appartement était un peu "glaciale" (toute blanche avec des spots)... Et s'ouvrait directement sur le salon. Nous l'avons égayée d'un rouge acidulé, de jolies poignées dorées et d'un chêne chaleureux au niveau des bancs coffres et du claustra qui permet à présent de créer un SAS.

Ogni casa ha una storia da raccontare. La storia di questo piccolo bilocale nel centro storico di Orte (VT) racconta di stratificazioni e di passaggio del tempo... Al piano terra, dove si trova l'ingresso dell'appartamento ho voluto lasciare il segno di questo trascorrere del tempo lasciando a vista parte della muratura originaria e conservando il rivestimento in pietra delle scale, consumato dal passaggio delle precedenti persone che lo hanno abitato.

The foyer is expansive as it is opens up to the top floor - check out the light - simply stunning! We needed a large fixture and this is perfect at 36" high finished in a weathered gray with silver metal detail. We found two pieces of driftwood and screwed them together - we just love the way they stand proud and contrast the shiplap!

A large window and modern door flood this front entry with light. The bold staircase with cable handrail and open-tread design draw the eye into the open-concept floor plan. With ReAlta, we are introducing for the first time in Charlotte a fully solar community. Each beautifully detailed home will incorporate low profile solar panels that will collect the sun’s rays

Good bones are always a plus but if you don't got 'em, fake 'em. By focusing strictly on surface materials we transformed this lack-luster foyer into a beautiful entry hall. New moldings, custom doors, sturdy hardware, fresh paint and oversized natural slate floor tile resembles nothing of this room's humdrum beginnings.
