Custom Design & ConstructionOur homeowners wanted a master bathroom remodel that would allow them to continue to age in place. They had no intention of leaving their Hermosa Beach bungalow. Aging in place was a central focus of the design. Starting with the wall mounted toilet which was selected for ease of cleaning. The double walk in shower features grab bars and glass hinged doors. Unique to this double shower is that each homeowner selected their preferred shower head and valve to be used; They are not even the same brands! This was one of the ways that the remodel was personalized to the homeowners to meet each of their needs. Since there was no room for a swinging door a barn door ended up to be a stylish resolution. Frosted glass gives the homeowners some privacy but still allows for light. They wanted cabinetry with a rustic feel. The finished project offers the homeowners a shaker style door which slides open. We also included a stacked linen closet for additional storage. The bathroom features marble wainscoting which continues into the shower. The border tile, in a simple stacked stone, continues onto the backsplash to tie the whole room together.
Bagno Design ScotlandStarring natural marble tiling on the floor, walls and feature areas, this space gives the ultimate luxury feel. The double inset bathtub along with the non-negotiable BAGNOTV allows our clients to soak up and relax with ease in the bath. The large walk in shower area with the addition of a softstone shower tray achieves a soft underfoot feel and helps to enhance the user experience for a speedy morning routine. The natural marble wall and floor tiles in conjunction with the black marble mosaic feature has created one of our most elegant master ensuites to date.
Our client was looking to create a timeless feel that tied in with his new build home, making elegance and storage to be the two must-haves. We did this with the use of some of our latest products, as well as a double vanity which included bespoke veneered drawers and tall storage cabinets to incorporate plenty of extra space to store products, etc.
This is definitely a project we want to shout about and showcases a style we would like to recreate in many bathrooms across the UK.
Maeser Master ServicesThe bathroom was completely gutted, we removed a closet and built a larger shower. The enlarged shower features Moen vertical spa with multiples functions including a Hansgrohe shower head, ceiling-mount rain head and a hand-held on the bar. Storage features include a recessed niche with shelf and a floating corner seat. 12" glass mosaic feature strip that continues throughout the whole bathroom. Tile is 12" x 24" marble tile with offset pattern. 1" x 2" fabric tile adorns the floor. There is a ceiling heating lamp for warmth. Heavy clear glass frameless hinged door with brushed nickel trim.
We installed two wall-mounted custom-made floating vanities with Granite countertops and Kohler vessel bowls in white with Moen wall-mounted faucets in brushed nickel.
Flooring is 12" x 24" fabric floor tile in an offset pattern with perfectly heated floor. Controls are mounted by the vanity. A 6" platform take you to the freestanding tub with brushed nickel exterior with acrylic interior and a Moen floor mount free-standing tub faucet.
