A warm and inviting custom master bathroom.

This bathroom originally had a tub, separate shower, and small vanity with limited storage. We relocated the shower and expanded it to fit two showerheads, two niches and a corner bench. We used carrara porcelain tile to keep costs down, and glass mosaic as an accent. This opened up the opposite wall for more vanity storage, which we accomplished using Crystal Cabinetry.

This bathroom was designed as a surprise for my client's parent! An amazing and thoughtful gift anyone would be so happy to come home to. Function was our main focus in this design. We removed the large garden tub to accommodate a larger shower with a standing shower with body sprays and on the other end a seated area with a handheld shower wand for flexible shower options. Since function was so key in this master bath, we put an ample amount of shower niches in both showering areas for all the body products you could need at your fingertips. The previous window was too large and clear glass that gave no privacy so we replaced the window to give some privacy and added a frosted window for even more privacy. This allowed us to install decorative grab bars for safety without sacrificing style. A barrier free shower entrance creates an easy way to get in and out without the need for a shower door. A timeless design with some french style accents in a neutral color palette round out this bathroom. The shower floor tile give is some pattern to complement the white wall tile. Accent wall behind the vanity for some texture and pattern as well as keeping water from being splashed onto the drywall. For the main bathroom floor we went with a large 24" square rectified porcelain tile to give the look of a natural stone with a little variation for a natural look but much lower maintenance than natural stone. To top off the vanity, bench seat, sills and pony walls we did a warm grey and white quartz for a nice overall pattern, again something to keep with a more timeless look. This was a great project and such a great improvement not only to the house but to the daily life of the user!

The clients wanted to turn their bathroom into a luxurious master suite. They liked the location of the tub and shower, so we kept the layout of the bathroom the same. We removed the wall paper and all finishes, fixtures and existing mirrors and started over. Atrium Marte Perla porcelain flooring was installed which is tougher, more scratch resistant than other varieties, and more durable and resistant to stains. We added a beautiful Victoria+Albert Radford freestanding tub with a beautiful brushed nickel crystal chandelier above it. His and hers vanities were reconfigured with 'Lehigh' Quality Cabinets finished in Chiffon with Tuscan glaze with Venus White Marble counter tops. Two beautiful Restoration Hardware Ventian Beaded mirrors now mirrored each other across the bathroom, separated by the open corner display shelves for knickknacks and keepsakes. The shower remained the same footprint with two entrances but the window overlooking the bathtub changed sizes and directions. We lined the shower floor with a more contemporary Dolomite Terra Marine Marble Mosaic tile, surrounded by gray glossy ceramic tiles on the walls. Replaced clawfoot tub with more functional acrylic freestanding bath tub with floor mounted tub filler. Leaking shower was completely renovated. New tile with glass tile waterfall accent and dual shower heads in walk in shower. New tile flooring. Kept original wainscoting and painted it.

When our client asked for a larger, more accessible shower, dual sinks and more storage for their bathroom; we delivered. By moving some fixture locations we were able to provide a large 60” x 36” shower with fold down seat, his and hers sinks and a large linen tower as a storage solution. Adam Newton took the client’s needs into consideration and combined grey and white hues to get a beautiful and functional bathroom design.

We re-imagined this master suite so that the bed and bath are separated by a well-designed his-and-hers closet. Through the custom closet you'll find a lavish bath with his and hers vanities, and subtle finishes in tones of gray for a peaceful beginning and end to every day.
