Dining Room
I don't know how this would work, but if we took off a foot on the bottom, we would have space for wainscoting and this landscape above it and go to the ceiling. The rest of the room could be a simple complementary color. I would put this in the East side so that it would be easy to see from the living room. The flip side would be to use the west wall for this and have it be a surprise for someone that enters the dining room not expecting such a large canvas experience. Brady like this one -- too dark?
Logans pic, personally I like how fun and playful this is. The pops of color give us lots of options to play with. (BWU)
Really cool high contrast window molding and ceiling trim.
Thought this was good to see all the options.
This middle version is what the house originally had. I think I am leaning towards the bottom one with the flair of molding under the top piece. Its important to logan that the top piece is the same width as the vertical pieces. We will have to explore how this looks. (BWU)
This little 1/2 piece of horizontal trim right above the entry way actually adds a nice little touch and hides the joins for the pieces of trim. Long story short, this addition actually makes it easier to trim the windows
I thought this is a good reference to see what a simple, basic trim would look like with no embellishment. Personally, I think the addition of the top piece is a good idea.
I think we could live with this type of window trim and cased opening style. A little flair at the top, Everything else pretty simple. (BWU)
Looking trim. Thinking logan might like the lower one.
I love the cabinet.
