How to make our family wall calendar look smart?

Hi all,
Planning for our new kitchen. It will be a scandi/japandi style, plain slab in muted green I think, clean lines, white walls. I don't want the whole calm scandi look to be ruined with a family calendar and all the related family paperwork so I'm looking for ideas on how to integrate a calendar into the design so it still looks nice. Sadly can't move the admin elsewhere as husband can't seem to cope unless it is right infront of him! Sigh

Have you looked at an Acrylic calendar? Something like this one?

You could have separate to-do lists, or calendars like this or here's another more minimal design.

If you have a nice wood panelled backing it could make it a feature, but without drawing too much attention to it. Hope that helps!

Perhaps you could have the calendar it’s self hidden behind little doors, you could also paint them with magnetic paint to ensure those ‘must do’ post-it’s aren’t missed.
