The art is original and part of the client's collection. They were originally hanging over "homework" areas for their kids and when we put in the lower level kitchen I decided to move them to add some color and interest. I will ask her who the artist is!

The artist is Emily Lunde, known for her folke art style paintings. The painting on the right is called One Room School - an image she often painted!
