Hello, all of this timber is Spotted Gum. Some of it is recycled from the original building. The finish is a water based polyurethane, in satin finish. All the best with your project. Rebecca

Hi Rebecca, we finally have our staircase :-) we couldn’t source spotted gum so the builder used blackbutt.
