Ah yes -- the dreaded disintegrating bender board issue we all DESPISE. Back 30 years ago, when we had our design-build firm and a full landscape crew to install projects (now we only design), we used redwood bender board to edge lawns. While it was the best at the time, it invariably didn't last as long as anyone liked. Down the road, there was a better option of composite material for bender board-- think Trex Decking but for bender board-- that's what you see in this photo; however, I am not sure of the brand we used in this photo. Our current favorites are either steel or cobble to edge a lawn.
