We have a similar set up in our house and work is hopefully going to start soon on the lower ground floor. Building regs are saying we need a fire door between the kitchen on this floor and the rest of the house upstairs. I am reluctant to put a solid door in and saw your glass partition at the bottom of the stairs as a great solution. Who supplied this and roughly how much did it cost?
