Tiles to add colour to my kitchen / living room

4年前

I’m going to tile my backsplash and I need some advice on what colour air pattern of tiles to get.

The room does not get much natural light so I don’t want anything that will darken the room too much.

I’ve added some photos of the top , any suggestions would be helpful.

Also, I’m not sure how high up to tile and if I should remove the metal backsplash behind the stove.

Thanks for help!

    Great looking space and kitchen.

What is currently on the wall, if anything?

Also what material is your worktop? It looks nice

Thanks ED, there is nothing on the wall currently, just white paint.

Here is a closer picture, I hope that helps. I actually don’t know what material the worktop is.

I love hexagonal tiles. You can get them in various sizes from small mosaic ones to hand sized ones. White will look smart and trendy, but they come in so many different colours. Here’s some examples
