Hi! Thanks for your question! The top is solid wood painted with Caviar by Sherwin Williams to match the metal balusters. The railing was not custom made but I did make very specific recommendation based on the items they carry to create this look; the railing in particular as I wanted a very simple but modern design.

The posts were custom made to match the trim in the adjoining mudroom.
