is your backsplash carrera marble?

I actually was mistaken and just learned the counter top is Calcutta marble with a beveled edge. The backsplash is white subway tile.

This marble can and will etch fairly easily which is why it is often honed when used in kitchens. There are some quartz "copycats" of this product that will not etch and cannot be distinguished from the natural version.

What is the darker counter on either side of the stove? Its a nice contrast.

The island counter top is Calcutta marble with a beveled edge. The darker counter top is quartz however I don't have the color (sorry).
