hi @sim94, the wood on the island is a mixture of poplar and white oak, both reclaimed wood. The stain is a custom stain, so it's a mixture of a few different ones, I would not be able to give you an idea as to an exact one. It's close to natural. This island was completely custom-made for us. The carpenter sent us several swatches to look at, and made it entirely by hand. Thanks for your question!!
