I like your idea of a roman shade on the window and drapery on the door. You have a lot of natural textures, leather, etc. My first thought was a soft grey linen but the more I thought about it, the more a really textured burlap moved into first place. I don't think you would necessarily have to line it for privacy, but of course you could. You might want to think about a larger rod diameter as well, the 1/2" tends to sag. Hope this helps!
