I'll assume that you are referring to the railing system. It is constructed utilizing solid stainless steel. The surface of the metal is finely abraded to achieve what might commonly be referred to as "brushed stainless steel". So what you are seeing is the metal itself without anything applied to it.

Was this welded and finished on site/in place, or were you able to bring it in as one piece? And was the "abraded" finish done with a sandblaster?
