Irene idea's are good.

Was just at ikea and saw some floating shelves with drawers as nightstands.
This is the perfect place for those!

Also you should rehang your drapes to make the window appear larger....

I think one larger piece of art or a photograph over the bed would be nicer....

Something minimalist like this and some cool linen bedding with a few pillows and you've got yourself a very serene space.
