A stainless steel countertop can be fabricated in many thicknesses. It really depends on your kitchen, layout and style which thickness works best for you. For this one we did 1 1/4" thickness. The clients wanted a more polished look for their countertop, but stainless steel countertops can also come brushed as well. The grid was custom made to fit their window; I would suggest contacting you local metal fabricator.
