There looks like there is a built in extractor above the hob but I think the gap is too small and would probably be an illegal installation in the UK.

Without me checking, I believe above gas hobs there has to be a 'combustible free' zone to the ceiling if you don't have an extractor, and if you do have an extractor then 750 mm clearance is the minimum gap in the absence of minimum requirement from the extractor manufacture.
