Adding lights to trees takes some care as to not harm the tree. Certain screws will poison the tree and fasteners have to be checked regularly. A tree will quickly start growing over both the fixture and the wire if not attached properly.
I have three large cedars in a beautiful clump in north Vancouver BC recently up lighted with one light. However these cedars are very tall, very mature and the light doesn't go as far up the canopy as I would like. I'm thinking we should put one or two or even three up towards the canopy. Is this how lighting a very tall cedar is done?
