That is a thin epoxy terrazzo floor. The intent was to capture the feeling of walking along a sandy beach that reflects the moon light as twinkles of light dance off the grains of sand. To do this we sprinkled in pieces of glass and semi precious stones that are ground down as part of the finishing process. It was very successful in capturing our goal.
