Roman Shades/window panels

Wondering if anyone has a good source for roman shades. I guess I have forgotten how expensive they can get. I just got an estimate for over $2000 for three roman shades. I am not sure I want to spend that kind of money right now. Any suggestions or is this about right?

Thanks.

It depends on the material and design. I went to two different stores and I got for hunter and douglas roman shades an estimate of about $500 per shade without install (the install at one of the stores was not much,,,abut $20 per window)

We can help! Our roman shades give you many fabric and texture options, while being affordable. You have the choice of light filtering or blackout, and two different fold styles as well. Here are some of my favorites.

Thank you. Here are the windows I am looking at. I have taken down the panels and would like to go lighter on the romans on the above pics. Want something a lot less heavy on big window. I don't need them for privacy.

I really like the color scheme of this room!

These roman shade fabrics would look great.

Have you ever considered a woven wood shade? They operate and fold up like a roman, but they are made of natural wood. I think these could look very nice in your room as well.

Now that I see how big your windows are I think you should stick with panels. Can you use ready made panels? Look on Restoration Hardware website.

You don't need both roman shades and panels unless you just want them.

Woven wooden blinds bring in warmth and the natural element to your space. They can be made in almost any size. Have seen them for 2 story windows. If your windows are the right size you could purchase from Lowes/Home Depot.

not sure if you can tell, but the ones I have are wooden. Didn't know if they look too dark now that I painted my walls. Maybe just some panels that coordinate with the existing romans. I would just remove the panels around the windows with the shades and add something to the big window

From what I can see, the curtain rod is not long enough so that these drapes can be pulled away from the window. If you don't need them for privacy, they can be stationary at the side. They seem to work well with this space. The roman shades are darker, so removing them may be a good option. Do you need privacy at the big window and would stationary panels work for this space?
