The grass you see above is a native lawn alternative that was rolled out as a sod. The grass is called Agrostis, or Bentgrass. It comes as a sod from Delta Bluegrass in California. We have used it as a lawn subsitute for several clients. Many love it, some don't. If you want the conventional "crew cut" lawn, it is not for you. Also, it is short-lived and will need major maintenance, and/or renovation in 4-5 years.
