Leathered Quartizite is beautiful. If you are concerned about the the finish not being as durable as being polished, you do not need to worry. Both finishes would be be sealed. It is just a matter of personal preference and if you are ok with having the surface feel textured.

I have a large kitchen island with a leathered island and it looks beautiful and is easy to clean up. My perimeter counters are Cambria quartz.

if you have big windows it will be less glarey, a big bonus in my view.
