Hi jmak118. That is a smooth beaded standard Hardi-plank siding. We get the unfinished cement board version and paint after installation, since we have found that the pre-finished always gets scratched up during the process. Thanks for the question. Michael

Have you used a more economical alternative to hardi plank, that will provide the same look. Perhaps a high quality vinyl siding? What manufacturer? Thanks

We are in just about to install hardie Plank and are thinking of ordering unfinished and doing a custom BM color. Have you ever had any problems w/ the paint application? I read somewhere that the paint can sometimes not adhere evenly. Have you ever had that problem? Thank you so much for your thoughts!
