Does the fence have a semitransparent stain on it? If so, might I ask the color? I may be color blind this am...but it appears to have maybe a beige, pearl..off white tint???? Whatever it may be, it's beautiful!
It doesn't have a semi-transparent stain, if you look closely at the top of the fence you will see some reddish streaks. As Cedar ages first the redness starts to fade to white and then the white turns to grey. When this picture was taken the fence was in the middle of the fading process. If you wanted to maintain this color you could wait until you reach the tone you desire and then seal it, however sealing or staining fences adds a maintenance factor that most people would rather not deal with and simply let the cedar go to grey.
What type of fencing is this? Is it wood fence? I believe it is wood but I am not sure as the color is not making me understand the material. Could you please add an answer here. Thanks in advance. http://bit.ly/1DTzJZT
