The classic timeless, highly desired Hampton shape pool with LED lightning and dramatic stage steps. This yard displays a Hampton like feel with a small-scale Bluestone patio surrounded by a considerable amount of grass. This backyard includes multiple entertainment zones including the custom pool house, the sunbathing area, the raised conversational lounge seating, the elevated dining area, and the grass area for children to run and play. This backyard flaunts the Bergen County, New Jersey outdoor living trend.

​The Lightness vs Darkness theme carries throughout this project including never used materials and details to create this transitional gem in FlowerMound, TX. The axis and cross axis have stunning water and fire feature elements in the asymmetrical design. The black precise stacked slate spillway provides sound and visual effects and contrasts with the fire line burner visible from everywhere inside. This draws you out to enjoy the pool, and a lot more. The pool offered great places to hang out with the tanning ledge and built in bar stools and lots of room for the game of volleyball. The cross axis from the master bedroom draws the eye across the pool, through the black all tile vanishing edge spa, splitting the dual cabanas, through the fire pit, to gaze on the "Dark Planet" starburst light. The cabanas were divided into entertainment and dining. The graphite air slate, from Spain, covered the entertainment floating center and the cooking counter. Ivory Travertine in a stack bond pattern accented the cabanas, porch, fire pit and key areas blending with the coping and some veneers. The cabana steel roof matched the front home entry roof and helps unify the existing home with the additions. Details were important down the lighted and tiled vanishing edge channel for the spa. The pool house has a soaring ceiling covered in raw cypress planks. The walls are painted brick with soft gray French doors on all four sides. The floor is large random French limestone. Interior design by Markham Roberts.

To add visual interest and keep garden debris out of the pool, a full-length feature wall clad in Wiarton tiger stripe ledgerock was added along the hedge. The matching Wiarton pebble top coping of the pool complements the clean lines of the random rectangular saw cuts in the architectural stamped concrete patio.

Our client wanted a complete transformation of their backyard and we were excited to be a part of this awesome project. This pool has cast stone coping and water features, glass waterline tile and water feature wall tile, durazzo plaster, travertine pavers and LED lighting. Stunning private oasis in Colleyville, TX designed by Mike Farley and recently on HGTV's "Ultimate Pools" Shangri-La Pool. This project was constructed for privacy and relaxation. It has multiple water features including slate water walls, double rain falls coming out of a 10' arbor, fire bowls, water bowls, rain fall into spa, full outdoor kitchen, elevation changes, flagstone beach entry, large tanning ledge from tanning ledge to rain curtain, hidden grotto, diving slab, built in table.
