On April 22, 2013, MainStreet Design Build began a 6-month construction project that ended November 1, 2013 with a beautiful 655 square foot addition off the rear of this client's home. The addition included this gorgeous custom kitchen, a large mudroom with a locker for everyone in the house, a brand new laundry room and 3rd car garage. As part of the renovation, a 2nd floor closet was also converted into a full bathroom, attached to a child’s bedroom; the formal living room and dining room were opened up to one another with custom columns that coordinated with existing columns in the family room and kitchen; and the front entry stairwell received a complete re-design. A stunning custom island and buffet replaced a dual level peninsula in this remodel. The homeowners wanted to be able to look out onto the water while sitting at their kitchen island, so Danielle designed a custom island with space for an extra seat at either end.

This kitchen was updated with Medallion maple wood species, Middleton door with a flat panel in Sandpiper Classic paint on the perimeter of the kitchen. The bar area and shelving unit and kitchen island features frameless cabinets by Design Craft in maple wood species, Potter Mills door style with flat center panel French Roast stain with Sable glaze and highlight. The countertops are Eternia Castlebar quartz with a roundover edge and a Blanco white fireclay apron front sink. Moen single handle faucet in matte black. A 4-light candelabra pendant light by Park Harbor hangs over the island and a Seagull 5-light Ravenwood chandelier hangs over the dining room table.

Large U-shaped kitchen and 1st floor remodel in Thornton PA. These client’s kitchen was in need of additional space and a fresh new look. To gain more space in the kitchen we moved the laundry to another part of the home and took the wall down between it and the kitchen. We relocated the garage entry door and changed the window size and location to suit the new cabinetry design. A new 8’ sliding door was installed in the adjoining living room as well. Now the new kitchen has great views of their beautiful back yard and tons of natural light. Wide plank engineered wood flooring in Johnson’s English Pub Series; Apple Jack finish were installed throughout the kitchen and first floor. The flooring coordinated nicely with the homes original finished moldings. Echelon cabinetry in Alpine white painted finish are a warm contrast to the natural wood tones and the simple Addison door style makes the cabinetry easy to clean. Granite countertops and a simple backsplash tie everything together.
