This timeless and functional kitchen is full of custom cabinets, large appliance panels, and even a stylish and functional ladder. Outfitted with a scullery, a drink station, and a mudroom, this transformation put a spin on the classics in their bright, modern kitchen flip. With time-traveling pieces like a functional sliding ladder for out-of-reach storage and a drink station reminiscent of an old-fashioned hotel bar, it takes accent pieces like geometric pendant lighting to return us to the modern day.

Deep blue bespoke shaker kitchen with many detailed internal storage requirements. Even a specific drawer for a certain sized doggy treat tin! the kitchen was built to the roof and the detailed coving copied to create this 'built in' appearance. The height of the kitchen accentuates and compliments the tall ceilings.

This future rental property has been completely refurbished with a newly constructed extension. Bespoke joinery, lighting design and colour scheme were carefully thought out to create a sense of space and elegant simplicity to appeal to a wide range of future tenants. Project performed for Susan Clark Interiors.

The brief from the homeowners was that an existing antique buffet & hutch and also a painted, timber island trolley were to be retained and used as inspiration for the new kitchen cabinetry. The colours of the new cabinets were directly inspired by these antique items with the soft, olive hue drawn from the distressed, island trolley. The kitchen design however takes a more contemporary approach with engineered quartz benchtops and splashbacks, clean lines and modern appliances including a fully integrated dishwasher. The homeowners were thrilled with the improved functionality of their new kitchen as well as the ease at which it fits into their traditional style home.

For three years this Westlake Village couple lived in a house that didn't quite fit their needs. With frequent houseguests staying for weeks at a time, the family needed more space, particularly in the cramped kitchen. So began their search for a new home. Though the couple viewed several residences, they realized nothing compared to the space and location of the house they already owned. The family knew JRP by reputation from friends who were JRP clients. After consulting with our team, the couple agreed a whole-home renovation was the way to the dream home they had been searching for. Inspired by top architectural magazines, the couple had a clear vision of how their home should look and feel: a clean, open, modern space with a mix of details that played to the family's lively spirit. The highlight of this new, open floorplan home is the gorgeous kitchen perfect for hosting. The unified palette is soft and beautiful. Kitchen Interior Design Project in Richmond, West London We were approached by a couple who had seen our work and were keen for us to mastermind their project for them. They had lived in this house in Richmond, West London for a number of years so when the time came to embark upon an interior design project, they wanted to get all their ducks in a row first. We spent many hours together, brainstorming ideas and formulating a tight interior design brief prior to hitting the drawing board. Reimagining the interior of an old building comes pretty easily when you’re working with a gorgeous property like this. The proportions of the windows and doors were deserving of emphasis. The layouts lent themselves so well to virtually any style of interior design. For this reason we love working on period houses. It was quickly decided that we would extend the house at the rear to accommodate the new kitchen-diner. The Shaker-style kitchen was made bespoke by a specialist joiner, and hand painted in Farrow & Ball eggshell. We had three brightly coloured glass pendants made bespoke by Curiousa & Curiousa, which provide an elegant wash of light over the island. The initial brief for this project came through very clearly in our brainstorming sessions. As we expected, we were all very much in harmony when it came to the design style and general aesthetic of the interiors. In the entrance hall, staircases and landings for example, we wanted to create an immediate ‘wow factor’. To get this effect, we specified our signature ‘in-your-face’ Roger Oates stair runners! A quirky wallpaper by Cole & Son and some statement plants pull together the scheme nicely.
