Our Long Island studio used a bright, neutral palette to create a cohesive ambiance in this beautiful lower level designed for play and entertainment. We used wallpapers, tiles, rugs, wooden accents, soft furnishings, and creative lighting to make it a fun, livable, sophisticated entertainment space for the whole family. The multifunctional space has a golf simulator and pool table, a wine room and home bar, and televisions at every site line, making it THE favorite hangout spot in this home. ---Project designed by Long Island interior design studio Annette Jaffe Interiors. This is a Craftsman home in Denver’s Hilltop neighborhood. We added a family room, mudroom and kitchen to the back of the home.

A nod to the custom black hood in the kitchen, the dark Blackstone finish on the wet bar cabinets in Grabill's Harrison door style is a showstopper. The glass door uppers sparkle against the black tile backsplash and gray quartz countertop.

This expansive kitchen space features a cooking area with island, a breakfast nook, a sitting area, and a lounge area overlooking the lake, creating an integrated work/play/dine gathering space for a large family. The homeowner wanted to keep the space fairly neutral and efficient as well as reflect the lakeside location, without being overly nautical. White oak and quartzite bar repeats the materials used on the expansive kitchen island in the cooking area of this room. A built-in end panel conceals Sub-zero fridge and freezer drawers.

Right off the kitchen is a butler’s pantry. The dark blue raised panel cabinets with satin gold pulls and the white quartz counter correspond with the kitchen. We used mirrors for the backsplash and on the upper cabinets. And, of course, no beverage center is complete with a wine refrigerator! Sleek and contemporary, this beautiful home is located in Villanova, PA. Blue, white and gold are the palette of this transitional design. With custom touches and an emphasis on flow and an open floor plan, the renovation included the kitchen, family room, butler’s pantry, mudroom, two powder rooms and floors. The harmony of color, texture and elements of stone, wood tile, paint stain and glass along with well-defined straight lines in this design combine to execute this Asian inspired kitchen. This Lshape layout with island, pantries and wet bar has a large prep and serve space that also offers a dine-in option. It is minimalistic, functional and well balanced. The boxed out window located at the sink brings nature in. It’s neutral backdrop and golden toned enamel hardware adds elegance and drama.

This cozy coffee bar is nestled in a beautiful drywall arched nook creating a quaint moment to be enjoyed every morning. The custom white oak cabinets are faced with reeded millwork for that fine detail that makes the bar feel elevated and special. Beautiful marble with a mitered edge pairs nicely with the white oak natural finish. The new faucet from Kohler and Studio McGee was used for the bar sink faucet. This light bright feel is perfect to set that morning scene.
