We love a good curved staircase when we see one and this one might be our favorite! We can't get over the arched windows, the custom wrought iron stair rail and wall sconces, and the wood floors, to name a few of our favorite design elements.

Inspired by the iconic American farmhouse, this transitional home blends a modern sense of space and living with traditional form and materials. Details are streamlined and modernized, while the overall form echoes American nastolgia. Past the expansive and welcoming front patio, one enters through the element of glass tying together the two main brick masses. The airiness of the entry glass wall is carried throughout the home with vaulted ceilings, generous views to the outside and an open tread stair with a metal rail system. The modern openness is balanced by the traditional warmth of interior details, including fireplaces, wood ceiling beams and transitional light fixtures, and the restrained proportion of windows. The home takes advantage of the Colorado sun by maximizing the southern light into the family spaces and Master Bedroom, orienting the Kitchen, Great Room and informal dining around the outdoor living space through views and multi-slide doors, the formal Dining Room spills out to the front patio through a wall of French doors, and the 2nd floor is dominated by a glass wall to the front and a balcony to the rear. As a home for the modern family, it seeks to balance expansive gathering spaces throughout all three levels, both indoors and out, while also providing quiet respites such as the 5-piece Master Suite flooded with southern light, the 2nd floor Reading Nook overlooking the street, nestled between the Master and secondary bedrooms, and the Home Office projecting out into the private rear yard. This home promises to flex with the family looking to entertain or stay in for a quiet evening.

As with most properties in coastal San Diego this parcel of land was expensive and this client wanted to maximize their return on investment. We did this by filling every little corner of the allowable building area (width, depth, AND height). We designed a new two-story home that includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, one office/ bedroom, an open concept kitchen/ dining/ living area, and my favorite part, a huge outdoor covered deck.

Here we have a contemporary residence we designed in the Bellevue area. Some areas we hope you give attention to; floating vanities in the bathrooms along with flat panel cabinets, dark hardwood beams (giving you a loft feel) outdoor fireplace encased in cultured stone and an open tread stair system with a wrought iron detail. La nueva tipología de hogar se basa en las construcciones tradicionales de la zona, pero con un toque contemporáneo. Una caja blanca apoyada sobre otra de piedra que, a su vez, se abre para dejar aparecer el vidrio, permite dialogar perfectamente la sensación de protección y refugio necesarios con las vistas y la luz del maravilloso paisaje que la rodea. La casa se encuentra situada en la vertiente sur del macizo de Peña Cabarga en el pueblo de Pámanes. El edificio está orientado hacia el sur, permitiendo disfrutar de las impresionantes vistas hacia el valle y se distribuye en dos niveles: sala de estar, espacios de uso diurno y dormitorios en la planta baja y estudio y dormitorio principal en planta alta.
