This Australian-inspired new construction was a successful collaboration between homeowner, architect, designer and builder. The home features a Henrybuilt kitchen, butler's pantry, private home office, guest suite, master suite, entry foyer with concealed entrances to the powder bathroom and coat closet, hidden play loft, and full front and back landscaping with swimming pool and pool house/ADU.

Every drawer has a purpose. Storage is plentiful, yet planning has allowed for room and space that all kitchen items have a home and all move in and out easily from that place.

This photo: For a couple's house in Paradise Valley, architect C.P. Drewett created a sleek modern kitchen with Caesarstone counters and tile backsplashes from Art Stone LLC. Porcelain-tile floors from Villagio Tile & Stone provide contrast to the dark-stained vertical-grain white-oak cabinetry fabricated by Reliance Custom Cabinets. Positioned near the base of iconic Camelback Mountain, “Outside In” is a modernist home celebrating the love of outdoor living Arizonans crave. The design inspiration was honoring early territorial architecture while applying modernist design principles. Dressed with undulating negra cantera stone, the massing elements of “Outside In” bring an artistic stature to the project’s design hierarchy. This home boasts a first (never seen before feature) — a re-entrant pocketing door which unveils virtually the entire home’s living space to the exterior pool and view terrace. In order to open up this kitchen, many of the walls were removed and the window increased in size to create a pass-thru window. To store all of the glassware and dishes, we designed custom drawer organizer systems. The quartz countertops are a very close replication of a Calcutta Marble.

The rear wall of the house was bumped out 4 feet to expand the kitchen. New windows bring light in above the countertops, while a large island anchors the space.

This dated 80's home needed a major makeover inside and out. For the most part, the home’s footprint and layout stayed the same, but details and finishes were updated throughout and a few structural things - such as expanding a bathroom by taking space from a spare bedroom closet - were done to make the house more functional for our client. The exterior was painted a bold modern dark charcoal with a bright orange door. Carpeting was removed for new wood floor installation, brick was painted, new wood mantle stained to match the floors and simplified door trims. The kitchen was completed demoed and renovated with sleek cabinetry and larger windows. Custom fabricated steel railings make a serious statement in the entryway, updating the overall style of the house.

Spectacular views, a tricky site and the desirability of maintaining views and light for adjacent neighbors inspired our design for this new house in Clarendon Heights. The facade features subtle shades of stucco, coordinating dark aluminum windows and a bay element which twists to capture views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Built into an upsloping site, retaining walls allowed us to create a bi-level rear yard with the lower part at the main living level and an elevated upper deck with sweeping views of San Francisco. The interiors feature an open plan, high ceilings, luxurious finishes and a dramatic curving stair with metal railings which swoop up to a second-floor sky bridge. Well-placed windows, including clerestories flood all of the interior spaces with light.

Pendants by Cedar & Moss Appliances by Bosch Countertops are "Super White" White Quartz. The floors are select rift & quartered white oak with a matte finish. Open concept room with natural wood design. Large windows and light finishes make the space bright and warm. The view of nature from the kitchen gives a relaxing indoor-outdoor feeling to the room, while still being warm and inviting.
