Designed at Reico Kitchen & Bath in Chantilly, VA this modern wet bar design features kitchen cabinets from Ultracraft Cabinetry in the door style Metropolis in the Argent Oak Vertical Grain finish. Our Aspen studio designed this luxe modern home with fabulous furnishings and decor that are in sync with the natural beauty of Colorado. In this foyer, the large glass door pivots, and as light pours in, it mellows the hemlock-paneled wall and white oak floors. The glow of the Noguchi lantern above, the soft Moroccan runner under foot, and the woven cognac leather bench all create a welcoming entry to this modern mountain home. The golden hillside grasses inspired the warm tones we chose for furnishings, including the custom white oak dining table with steel wishbone legs and the handmade console cabinet. A little bit of a lavender hue in the bedrooms relates to the lavender and sage that grows so beautifully in Colorado. We used a classic black and white combination in the kitchen, creating an elegant, sophisticated vibe. For the home bar, we followed a similar scheme with white quartz countertops contrasting with black-stained fluted paneling. Our Carmel design-build studio planned a beautiful open-concept layout for this home with a lovely kitchen, adjoining dining area, and a spacious and comfortable living space. We chose a classic blue and white palette in the kitchen, used high-quality appliances, and added plenty of storage spaces to make it a functional, hardworking kitchen. In the adjoining dining area, we added a round table with elegant chairs. The spacious living room comes alive with comfortable furniture and furnishings with fun patterns and textures. A stunning fireplace clad in a natural stone finish creates visual interest. Glass shelves were span between cabinets for alcohol bottle storage. Behind the glass shelves is a sheet of back painted glass that is lit behind to create a fun environment for entertaining.

We opened up the wall between the kitchen and a guest bedroom. This new bar/sitting area used to be the bedroom. We used textured wallpaper to warm up the area.

This living room design in Hingham was completed as part of a home remodel that included a master bath design and the adjacent kitchen design. The luxurious living room is a stylish focal point in the home but also a comfortable space that is sure to be a favorite spot to relax with family. The centerpiece of the room is the stunning fireplace that includes Sedona Grey Stack Stone and New York Bluestone honed for the hearth and apron, as well as a new mantel. The television is mounted on the wall above the mantel. A custom bar is positioned inside the living room adjacent to the kitchen. It includes Mouser Cabinetry with a Centra Reno door style, an Elkay single bowl bar sink, a wine refrigerator, and a refrigerator drawer for beverages. The bar area is accented by Sedona Grey Stack Stone as the backsplash and a Dekton Radium countertop. Glass front cabinets and open shelves with in cabinet and under shelf lighting offer ideal space for storage and display.

An alcove becomes a moody bar scene drenched in a deep rich black paint, black stone countertops, accented with warm wood floating shelves and copper antique mesh. Under shelf lighting illuminates the display area on the shelves and extra bottles are stored neatly in the custom diagonal open shelving rack to the side of the wine fridge.

Our latest custom wine room project is proof that you don’t need a country estate (or even a full-size room) to store your wine in style. Our clients in this small, but swanky condo in Portland’s Pearl District had just a tiny corner of space to work with. Tucked in between the fireplace and floor-to-ceiling terrace doors, we transformed this formerly awkward and unused storage space into a showstopper of a home wine and cocktail bar.
