Up the ante of your bachelor's retreat (and alternative rooms) aesthetic by adding a meticulously stylised cornice boards. The cornice boards in this house includes (2) different materials, an upholstered wood top molding and absolutely symmetrical handicraft on the curtains. Also, the (4) animal skin wing-backed chairs square measure superbly adorned with nail-heads that are carried throughout the design. This bachelor retreat features a stunning pendant and hand-tufted ottoman table. This house is warm and welcoming and perfect for intimate conversations amongst family and friends for years to come. Please take note - when using cornices, one should decide what proportion return is required. Return is the distance your material hangs away from the wall. Yes, this additionally affects the proportion. Usually, return is 3½ inches. However, larger or taller windows might need a deeper return to avoid the fabric from getting squashed against the wall. This small room off the foyer is used as a small living room / study. We designed the cabinetry and the fireplace mantel with this gorgeous fretwork trim detail. With the entire room wrapped in this intense mediterranean blue, it makes for a dramatic first impression when you enter the home.

Previously used as an office, this space had an awkwardly placed window to the left of the fireplace. By removing the window and building a bookcase to match the existing, the room feels balanced and symmetrical. Panel molding was added (by the homeowner!) and the walls were lacquered a deep navy. Bold modern green lounge chairs and a trio of crystal pendants make this cozy lounge next level. A console with upholstered ottomans keeps cocktails at the ready while adding two additional seats. Cornflower blue drapery frame the french doors and layer another shade of blue. Silk floral pillows have a handpainted quality to them and establish the palette. Hanging the birch tree pieces from chain add a layer of drama to the room.

The Bedford 12-foot Shuffleboard Table is will provide years of fun and enjoyment for the entire family. The cabinet is made of 1-2/5 inch thick solid Douglas fir with a weathered oak finish. The playfield is made of solid Aspen wood with a 1/8-inch polymer seal and measures 128L x 20"W x 3" Thick. The table has 4 big climatic adjusters for maximum play. Three sets of steel legs with a steel crossbar provide exceptional stability. Overall game size: 145" x 33" x 32". Includes eight pucks (two colors), 1 table brush, 1 can of speed wax, and 2 sets of scoring units.
