The owners were downsizing from a large ornate property down the street and were seeking a number of goals. Single story living, modern and open floor plan, comfortable working kitchen, spaces to house their collection of artwork, low maintenance and a strong connection between the interior and the landscape. Working with a long narrow lot adjacent to conservation land, the main living space (16 foot ceiling height at its peak) opens with folding glass doors to a large screen porch that looks out on a courtyard and the adjacent wooded landscape. This gives the home the perception that it is on a much larger lot and provides a great deal of privacy. The transition from the entry to the core of the home provides a natural gallery in which to display artwork and sculpture. Artificial light almost never needs to be turned on during daytime hours and the substantial peaked roof over the main living space is oriented to allow for solar panels not visible from the street or yard.

This tropical great room's design was inspired by the villas in Bali. The vaulted ceiling is designed with reed thatch and ebony stained natural beams and rafters. The kitchen has a waterfall edge kitchen island, ebony cabinets, natural basket pendants, and cream colored tiles. The glass sliding and pocketing doors opening to the courtyard gardens are teak. The floors are a cream porcelain tile. The white sofa has modern and timeless comfort, the woven chairs speak to the tropical style throughout the home. The dining table is monkey-pod wood.

After completing The Victoria Crest Residence we used this plan model for more homes after, because of it's success in the floorpan and overall design. The home offers expansive decks along the back of the house as well as a rooftop deck. Our flat panel walnut cabinets plays in with our clean line scheme. The creative process for our window layout is given much care along with interior lighting selection. We cannot stress how important lighting is to our company. Our wrought iron and wood floating staircase system is designed in house with much care. This open floorpan provides space for entertaining on both the main and upstair levels. Кухня наших клиентов Бруно + Фаворит. Горизонтальную систему хранения,заменили вертикальной. В результате часть боковой стены, практически до двери, заняли высокие шкафы в корпусах из ЛДСП цвета «венге». За фактурными фасадами из экомассива с красивым глубоким рельефом расположены антресольные шкафчики и выдвижные ящики. Кроме того, в «мертвых углах» установлены выкатные сетки LeMans, а рядом с духовым шкафом расположена диспенса – цельная выкатная сетка. Здесь же и встраиваемая техника: поднятая на комфортную высоту духовка и вместительный холодильник. Вдоль стены с окном разместилась рабочая зона. Ее длина 3,5 метра. В отличие от шкафа-колонны, в основной рабочей зоне гладкие фасады из МДФ с интегрированными ручками. Пространство за ними тоже не пустует: здесь и выдвижные ящики, и отделение для двойного мусорного ведра с сеткой для хранения чистящих средств, и глубокие полки для кухонной утвари. Выдвижные ящики – с удобными лотками для хранения столовых приборов и необходимых хозяйственных мелочей. Выдвигаются и задвигаются ящики мягко и плавно благодаря доводчикам.Столешница с интегрированной мойкой сделаны из акрилового камня. Чтобы подчеркнуть единство образа, стену за рабочей зоной и окно оформили тонкими плитами из того же материала.
