The kitchen includes a 42" french door subzero refrigerator, a 36" BlueStar range top, and separate 30" BlueStar french door wall oven. The island countertop has a 2 1/2" thick mitered edge with lots of seating for bar stools on two sides.

The new open kitchen features custom-made white shaker cabinets with gold pulls and knobs, black fixtures, new hardwood floors, white 5"X5" ceramic tile backsplash, Caesarstone Noble Grey countertops, breakfast bar with pattern cement tile detail, Thermador appliances and new wood clad windows painted black.

We took on the kitchen, two bathrooms and a powder room. The layout in the kitchen was functional for them, so we kept that pretty much as is. Our client wanted a contemporary-leaning transitional look — nice clean lines with a gray and white palette. Light gray cabinets with a slightly darker gray subway tile keep the northern exposure light and airy. They also purchased some new furniture for their breakfast room and adjoining family room, so the whole space looks completely styled and new. The light fixtures are staggered and give a nice rhythm to the otherwise serene feel. The homeowners were not 100% sold on the flooring choice for little powder room off the kitchen when I first showed it, but now they think it is one of the most interesting features of the design. I always try to “push” my clients a little bit because that’s when things can get really fun and this is what you are paying for after all, ideas that you may not come up with on your own. We also worked on the two upstairs bathrooms. We started first on the hall bath which was basically just in need of a face lift. The floor is porcelain tile made to look like carrera marble. The vanity is white Shaker doors fitted with a white quartz top. We re-glazed the cast iron tub. The master bath was a tub to shower conversion. We used a wood look porcelain plank on the main floor along with a Kohler Tailored vanity. The custom shower has a barn door shower door, and vinyl wallpaper in the sink area gives a rich textured look to the space. Overall, it’s a pretty sophisticated look for its smaller fooprint. Lovely transitional style custom home in Scottsdale, Arizona. The high ceilings, skylights, white cabinetry, and medium wood tones create a light and airy feeling throughout the home. The aesthetic gives a nod to contemporary design and has a sophisticated feel but is also very inviting and warm. In part this was achieved by the incorporation of varied colors, styles, and finishes on the fixtures, tiles, and accessories. The look was further enhanced by the juxtapositional use of black and white to create visual interest and make it fun. Thoughtfully designed and built for real living and indoor/ outdoor entertainment.

In this kitchen, Medallion Gold cabinetry was installed on the perimeter is Park Place Flat Panel in Irish Crème Classic Paint and the island is Park Place Flat Panel in Chestnut stain. The countertop is Blanco Arabescato quartz with T edge and 2cm 4” backsplash. Brio LED lights, Progress Saluda 5 light over the table, Progress Saluda Mini light over the island and Progress Staunton Mini light over the sink. Elkay Crosstown double equal stainless steel sink with rounded corners and Kohler Graze pull down faucet. Kept existing floor.

This home’s kitchen isn’t large and needed to somehow hold a mudroom area as the detached garage enters into the space. I carefully planned out all storage needs and we were able to add a wide, double door cabinet closet by the back door. The upper area holds coats and clutter. The lower doors have hooks and boot trays for backpacks and shoes. Paneling the Subzero fridge helps with softening the weight of the large appliance, as does the panel on the dishwasher. Little details like the skirt on the toe area and the beautiful hood and island posts make this smaller work space truly special!

Mike Roesch from @VonTobelValpo helped design this modern farmhouse kitchen featuring Kemper Echo cabinets with Marimac doors in white & black finish, counters made of Urban Lava in a concrete finish & an island counter by MSI Quartz in Carstin Brands Bella Calacatta. Large crown moulding add height to the space, & rustic wood grain floors complete the look.

A small kitchen renovation with a single window at the sink. This kitchen is also a major transitional space leading upstairs and downstairs out front and out back. A difficult kitchen to design. The reflective and refractive properties of the glass backsplash tile help immensely by making the space feel much larger than it is. Pops of yellow and orange make this playful and fun.
