The main family room connects to the kitchen and features a floor-to-ceiling fireplace surround that separates this room from the hallway and home office. The light-filled foyer opens to the dining room with intricate ceiling trim and a sparkling chandelier. A leaded glass window above the entry enforces the modern romanticism that the designer and owners were looking for. The in-law suite, off the side entrance, includes its own kitchen, family room, primary suite with a walk-out screened in porch, and a guest room/home office.

Full gut of an old tuscan style kitchen from the early 2000's. We wanted a unique but timeless design. We completely redesigned the layout of the kitchen to accommodate two islands, removing a wall on the left side. We custom designed reeded cabinets in white oak, quartzite countertop, custom plaster hood, zellige tile backsplash with the right amount of shimmer

The owners desired an open kitchen, living and dining room area while maintaining the original integrity of this 1920's home. By removing walls and integrating archways between the spaces, the enlarged kitchen has become the central hub of the home. The clean lines of the flush cabinetry provides contrast to the original detailing and woodwork. Walnut veneer at the island warms the space and coordinates with adjacent furniture. This Award Winning kitchen boasts the perfect marriage of a clean white on white aesthetic and the warmth and radiance of finished wood. An island for food prep and an island for social gathering means added storage, and added function. Fully integrated appliances are throughout the kitchen, from double ovens to coffee and refrigeration.

Opening the kitchen and sitting space allowed a larger kitchen footprint with a big island for prep work and kids’ homework; as well as a lovely area for the kitchen table in front of the hearth. The kitchen cabinets are traditional painted white, full overlay with clean lines and minimal detail. The countertops are honed black slate on the perimeter and walnut on the island. Choosing the sharp contrast of cobalt blue appliances created a beautiful focal point at the cooktop area. A new slider allowed access to the wooded backyard and brought much needed natural light into the space.

The sitting area was opened, keeping with the large, existing open hearth and rustic beams in the area. The new space allows for a lovely area for the kitchen table in front of the hearth.

This homeowner lived on a very prominent golf course and wanted to feel like he was on the putting green of the 9th hole while standing at his family room window. The existing layout of the home had the garage enjoying that view with the outdated dining room, family room and kitchen further back on the lot. We completely demoed the garage and a section of the home, allowing us to design and build with that view in mind. The completed project has the family room at the back of the home with a gorgeous view of the golf course from two large curved bay windows. A new fireplace with custom cabinetry and shelf niches and coffered high ceilings makes this room a treasure. The new kitchen boasts of white painted cabinetry, an island with wood top and a 6 burner Wolf cooktop with a custom hood, white tile with multiple trim details and a pot filler faucet. A Butler’s Pantry was added for entertaining complete with beautiful white painted cabinetry with glass upper cabinets, marble countertops and a prep sink and faucet. We converted an unused dining room into a custom, high-end home office with beautiful site- built mahogany bookcases to showcase the homeowners book collections. To complete this renovation, we added a “friends” entry and a mudroom for improved access and functionality. The transformation is not only efficient but aesthetically pleasing to the eye and exceeded the homeowner’s expectations to enjoy their view of the 9th hole.
