This 1930's small kitchen was in need of expansion. It was closed off to the rest of the house and didn't fit with the modern appliances. Removing a wall and extending the kitchen into the next room created an inviting space open to the dining and family room. Replacing the white painted cabinets with natural white oak custom cabinets gave it a contemporary look with classic touches of marble patterned quartz and handmade subway tile backsplash. The open shelving keeps everyday dishes within easy reach and a place to display artwork.

This sophisticated french country remodel added unbelievable charm to the homeowners large kitchen and dining space. With an off white perimeter and rich stained island the space feels elegant and well planned. Intricate details can be found throughout the kitchen, including glass inserts with mullion detail, corbels, large crown molding, decorative toe treatments, built-in wood hood, turned posts and contrasting hardware.

Complete overhaul of the common area in this wonderful Arcadia home. The living room, dining room and kitchen were redone. The direction was to obtain a contemporary look but to preserve the warmth of a ranch home. The perfect combination of modern colors such as grays and whites blend and work perfectly together with the abundant amount of wood tones in this design. The open kitchen is separated from the dining area with a large 10' peninsula with a waterfall finish detail. Notice the 3 different cabinet colors, the white of the upper cabinets, the Ash gray for the base cabinets and the magnificent olive of the peninsula are proof that you don't have to be afraid of using more than 1 color in your kitchen cabinets. The kitchen layout includes a secondary sink and a secondary dishwasher! For the busy life style of a modern family. The fireplace was completely redone with classic materials but in a contemporary layout. Notice the porcelain slab material on the hearth of the fireplace, the subway tile layout is a modern aligned pattern and the comfortable sitting nook on the side facing the large windows so you can enjoy a good book with a bright view. The bamboo flooring is continues throughout the house for a combining effect, tying together all the different spaces of the house. All the finish details and hardware are honed gold finish, gold tones compliment the wooden materials perfectly.

This eclectic mountain home nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains showcases an unexpected but harmonious blend of design influences. This kitchen was totally transformed from the existing floor plan. I used a mix of horizontal walnut grain with painted cabinets. A huge amount of storage in all the drawers as well in the doors of the cooker hood and a little bread storage pull out that is usually wasted space. My signature corner drawers this time just having 2 drawers as i wanted a 2 drawer look all around the perimeter.You will see i even made the sink doors "look" like 2 drawers. There is a designated cooking area which my client loves with all his knives/spices/utensils etc all around him. I reduced the depth of the cabinets on one side to still allow for my magic number pass through space, this area has pocket doors that hold appliances keeping them hidden but accessible. My clients are thrilled with the finished look.

This new riverfront townhouse is on three levels. The interiors blend clean contemporary elements with traditional cottage architecture. It is luxurious, yet very relaxed. What a transformation this is going to be. We are taking out some walls, expanding the kitchen window reconfiguring the space and adding some amazing details. The wood beams and planked ceiling combined with the taller French doors will make a statement for sure. This remodel started Jan of 2024. We are the design team that is bringing this to life, no architect just our team and our chosen construction team. We will be featuring Plato Cabinetry in this remarkable remodel.

This busy family wanted to update the main floor of their two-story house. They loved the area but wanted to have a fresher contemporary feel in their home. It all started with the kitchen. We redesigned this, added a big island, and changed flooring, lighting, some furnishings, and wall decor. We also added some architectural detailing in the front hallway.
