This kitchen was an addition to the existing home, gracious archway connects to the original section of the house that was once the kitchen and now is dining.

The large kitchen features handle-less European cabinetry, numerous mechanisms, gadgets, and organizers. The materials chosen are medium wood veneer, white glossy lacquer, topped with quartz countertop.

This Award Winning 411m2 architecturally designed house is built on an elevated platform perfectly positioned to enjoy the city lights and northerly breezes from the rear deck. An upper level ceiling height of 3m combined with a cool colour palate and clever tiling provides a canvas of grandeur and space. Modern influences have dramatically changed the authentic home design of the conventional Queensland home however the designers have made great use of the natural light and kept the high ceilings providing a very light and airy home design incorporating large windows and doors. Unlike old Queenslander designs this modern house has incorporated a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. Staying true to the roots of original Queensland houses which feature wooden flooring, the internal flooring of this house is made from hardwood Hermitage Oak. It’s a strong and resilient wood that looks great and will stand the test of time. This home also features some added modern extras you probably won't see in traditional Queensland homes, such as floor to ceiling tiles, separate butlers’ pantries and stone benches. So, although aesthetically different from traditional designs, this modern Queensland home has kept all the advantages of the older design but with a unique and stylish new twist.

A galley type kitchen that opens up to both the dining room on one side and the living room on the other. A combination of Walnut veneer and acrylic white high gloss flat panel cabinetry keeps things sleek and modern. Two islands are ideal for entertaining and provide lots of counter space for large meal prep. Finishing top cabinets all the way up to the ceiling provides more storage space on top most shelves, and makes the space feel tall and airy. Light was the main factor in this rear and side return extension, large skylights and sliding doors were installed at this property opening onto the garden giving a very open feel to this new space. Decking was laid in the garden. We were also asked to knock through a bedroom to make the existing bathroom even larger, because of the area gained we could provide an extensive and luxurious walk in shower, corian bath, spotlights and underfloor heating, as well as decorating the Living area and supplying engineered flooring throughout.

Settled on a hillside in Sunol, where the cows come to graze at dawn, lies a brand new custom home that looks like it has been there for a hundred years – in a good way. Our clients came to us with an architect's house plans, but needed a builder to make their dream home come to life. In true Ridgecrest fashion, we ended up redesigning the entire home inside and out - creating what we now call the Sunol Homestead. A multitude of details came together to give us the perfect mix of a traditional Craftsman with modern amenities. We commissioned a local stone mason to hand-place every river stone on the exterior of the house - no veneer here. Floor to ceiling window and doors lead out to the wrap-around porch to let in beautiful natural light, while the custom stained wood floors and trim exude warmth and richness. Every detail of this meticulously designed residence reflects a commitment to quality and comfort, making it a haven for those seeking a harmonious balance between refined living and the peaceful serenity of Sunol's idyllic landscape.
